  • Bag leaks!
The media could not be loaded. Filter quality and the ability of no backflushing seems great. However, first time out of package testing filter, bag leaks water right at the seam where the pre filter is for the inlet hose. For the price you think MSR would have a better reservoir bag or even smaller bag options? ... show more

  • Poor quality control
First time TESTING the bag and filter and it’s defective. I used filtered municipal water to purge the system as recommended and it took quite some time to make it just to the top of the MSR filter. After i was able to get it to flow I noticed a ton of water leaking From around the base of the filter. I quickly sourced the issue to the plastic cap at the bottom of the filter. It had a crack along the seam of the plastic end cap… really disappointing after spending $200!!! Poor quality control… poor construction… for the price it should be bullet proof ... show more

  • I wonder if reviewers actually used it
I bought this and felt the flow rate was way too slow. Mine also leaked out of the top bag so maybe a quality control problem. I think the pump version is better and easier to get water from.

  • Preformed well!
The purge system adds a lot of life to the filter. Worked out nicely in the Ontario water’s.

  • Very nice aystem.
Just used it for the first time and it was really nice and had a nice flow. Haven't Cleaned it yet and disinfect the filter, but that doesn't seem too bad.
