    • She loves it (I got the lobster one)
My 6 month old JRT has never been so hyper over a toy before lol I will say two things, she can't get her mouth on it enough to engage the squeaker/tail aspect on her own so if you have a smaller dog/puppy be mindful of that. And she broke its tail within 10 mins of chewing on it, apparently that's her favorite part after she saw it move lol so it's all bent up now. BUT if your dog likes tossing their toys around like mine it's perfect, it's light enough for her to do that and the tail and claws are good biting spots. And she hasn't tore it up yet despite her best efforts. A solid toy. ... show more

So cute! So fun! So quick to die. My husky lovvveeeed this lobster. Sadly it took just over 30 minutes for her to de-fluff, de-squeak, and de-claw the poor chap. She’s continued to cart around its empty toy body triumphantly so I’d consider this a win. Great product but deff not husky proof.

    • Not Great for Super Chewers
Review Image by Elicea Christensen
Review Image by Elicea Christensen
I have this little French bulldog puppy - 5 months old - who has blazed through the 15+ toys we have gotten her since adopting her just over a month ago. She is what I would call a super chewer. She’s determined to get to the squeaker! And once the squeaker stops working, she just goes for the small bits (like the ears, legs, or eyes). The problem isn’t that she destroys the toys. I expect it and I think it’s adorable. The problem is she then proceeds to eat the bits she gets off. While working to house break her, I have cleaned up many a poops that have pieces of toys in them from swallowing them. It’s ridiculous and makes me nervous that she’s going to end up needing the vet. So in doing my research, I found this company with toys that have “chew guard technology.” I thought this was the answer! So many positive reviews. I received two new toys from here today. A lobster and a bunny. They are the interactive toys that not only squeak, but have a pump in them so something moves when she bites down. So cute! And when I took that dumb lobster out of the box she was immediately obsessed. Two hours. That’s all it took. Two hours of on and off play time, for her to chew a hole right into the bottom, swallow a piece of fluff, and expose the squeaker. It wasn’t even at a seam where the hole is. She just easily chewed a hole into it. Making this $20 toy a full on waste. I’m sure these are great for regular chewers or dogs that just like to nibble or suckle on the material. But for a super chewer (even a tiny 12lbs French bulldog), these simply will not due. ... show more

    • My Pittie loves it
Very well made. Both my dogs were so intruiged by the movement, it wore off quickly but they still get into it from time to time (they have tons of other toys to distract them). my 100 lb Pitt mix was the only one who had a big enough mouth to really get it to work on his own but that didn't stop my 35 lb shar pei mix from chasing him around and trying to grab the tail! It has held up surprisingly well... Have had it for over six months and while it's nasty as heck from slobber it is in one piece. ... show more

    • Squeaker and Pump Mechanism Weak
Disappointing for my dog. This brand of dog toys in general don't have a very sensitive squeaker, which makes it hard for my soft biter hound to squeak. But the fabric is durable, and he is an aggressive chewer of fabric. Most of the toys from this brand he can get to squeak a little bit, and I help squeak it for him, which keeps him entertained. However, because neither of us could get a satisfying squeak out ofnit, he quickly went to town on the chewing and put multiple holes in it right away. Most of this brand's toys also haveultiplr squeakers: 1 big squeaker that I can squeak and a few small squeakers that my dog can makr squeak. This tot only has one large squeaker, and it is connected to the pump that moves the tail. The system doesn't seem to even be completely airtight, so the pump for moving tail does not work well. This is also why it doesn't seem to squeak properly. While I will continue to buy from this brand, I will not go for this style of toy again. KONG makes some plushes with less durable fabric but a very sensitive squeaker. My dog is so enthralled by the squeaker that he does notneven try to chew the kong plushes to bits. So durable fabric may not be as important as a quality sound maker in the toys for your dog. ... show more

    • So much fun!
My dogs LOVE this toy - the sound it makes is silly, not super loud or annoying, and the movement mechanism drives them bananas (in a good way). My only complaint is the durability - I wish it would last longer! The movement mechanism is targeted by the dogs so it fairly quickly breaks - my dogs are 25ish pound labradoodles, so not big or especially tough. This is our 3rd toy from this line - can’t stop won’t stop! ... show more

It lasted for an hour with my 6 month old puppy. He had fun with it while it lasted. But it’s not worth only 1 hour of enjoyment
