I was looking for not tight, longer cargo shorts (i.e. added pockets) for women - I typically buy men's cargo shorts, but they just look ... well, like a woman wearing men's shorts. I bought the Pink pair to try them out. I typically hover between a 14 and 16, but I got the 16-18 because I figured with an elastic waistband they may be forgiving. Keep in mind, I didn't want tight shorts and I want the length. As a 5'4" person, the size was perfect. It rests just above my knee standing. and doesn't bunch up when I'm sitting. The fabric is lighter weight than typical cargo shorts, but not too thin either. They are super comfortable and look fashionable vs. the mens shorts. I bought 5 more pair after these arrived. I've washed them 3x and no change in sizing or feel. Only minor complaint - the pink is more of a coral (orangish), not a real pink.

I like these shorts. I ordered the size 8-10 and they fit perfectly. Length is right above the knee. I'm 5'4" and weigh 115-120 lbs. I read they run small so I ordered up a sixe and am glad I did. they may have shrunk just a tiny bit after washing and putting them in the dryer. the fabric being cotton wasn't exactly what I expected but it is comfortable. would have given them a 5 but the elastic is just a bit snug and have no need for the ties. I don't like tight elastic on my waist.

These shorts are great. They are comfortable, made well, and have a ton of pockets! I usually look at Lands End, J crew etc and didn't want to spend $70 for shorts. So I tried Amazon. I bought 4 pairs! Highly recommended and great price!

The material is super thick so my thighs don’t chafe after long hikes. I ordered a 2X and I wear a ladies size 18-20 and the size is perfect. They don’t look cheap, the colors are bright.
