I picked this up during prime days. Was 110, is modular, includes 12vhp without issue. Is running a ASUS Strix Z790-e Intel 13th gen i7 W/ ASUS TUF 4070Ti Super OC and has 11 fans including those on the AIO. The cables are a little stiff but it wasn't an issue. Case Antec 1FT, it has plenty of cable management features. CONNECTIVITY HAS BEEN NO ISSUE. So unless it dies at warranty time its been a solid psu( has low noise function, but as you can tell with the fan count, I prefer it run cool). As for ease of installation that'll depend on the case. The outside bracket to the PSU on the Antec slides in and out of the power housing. ... show more

As a PSU, it seems to work just fine - successfully powering a 4080 Super through just its native 12v2x6 port. The cable for said port is really easy to plug in and to make sure it's plugged in as well, thanks to the bright yellow plugs. Do make sure to plug it in fully, otherwise some very very bad things could happen. 🙂 The fan inside is quite loud, but there's a little button on the PSU that lets you silent it. Obviously, this means that the fan won't run, but I think it's a fine tradeoff for when you're not doing anything too intensive. ... show more

Bought from amazon resale (basically bought pre-owned), got the powersupply but was missing the ATX 24Pin. called and recieved a partial refund of $20, which luckily is exactly how much it costs to get a replacement cable over the phone from MSI. Just be warned that if you buy used from the amazon resale option you may face missing items even if they dont disclaim that and it adds about a week of downtime to your new build. These power supplies are top notch and a great upgrade over my old semi modular set up. The single gpu graphics connection 12v2x6 makes things easy and for a clean set up, if you decide to use it. 850 watts is perfect for my 7800xt gpu and ryzen 7 7700x . The modular flat cables def help with keeping things clutter free. Power supply stays cool and silent with a 0 rpm mode which can be turned off. The overall size of the unit itself is very compact and light weight compared to some others units. There no rub or lights on this unit , but does have a very sleek silver MPG design on the side. it's a decent PSU for a decent cost, it comes with additional SATA and PCI-e slots that I was wanting for my current rig, but I do wish it came with enough cables to fit all the SATA slots as I'm down one cable to do so.

If you are courting a system with overclocked DDR5 and 200-225 watt video card, you'll love this PSU. A few days later I bought an "A850GL" and it got confusing to me how the models are different (A850GL vs A850G). MSI doesn’t do a very good job of explaining the two units, I think it has to do with capacitor construction or sourcing internal components. In any case, these are 80 plus gold and rated single rail. Use only the cables you need with modular cables, but know there is an 12VHPWR plug so you don't need the splitter adapter in the Nidia box! The cable can draw up to 600 watts (don't do it tho ). It directly plugs into the card with a yellow plastic male pins. This is so you know if yellow is showing you need to press harder.
