This thing is the best bang for the buck in tactical hawks out there. You'll need the blade cover because it's screaming sharp ootb. The cutting edge is hollow ground so I don't know how durable it would be chopping hard targets but oh, baby, does it make it sharp. Due to the one piece steel construction, it's a little heavy but not too bad and it should be damned near indestructible. The spike it wickedly pointy and penetrative. The one shortcoming are the scales. The texturing is just too smooth - be sure to attach a lanyard. They do fill the hand, though. Was very impressed, solid piece, and came sharp. The spike in the back is wicked. Excited to put it to work. Worth the buy especially for the price!

Its really sweet and the sheath fits perfectly. Have not tested durability but id imaging if its made by cold steel then its designed to take liken and keep on ticking. Perfect size in my opinion. Weight is very light for its 5mm in thickness. Grip feels slippery but when i had one hand squeezing somewhat tight i had my son pull with all he had it didnt slip out at all so id have to imagine if you really needed to whip it out in defensive situation and you were holding onto for dear life its not going to slip.
