I bought this laptop because I was looking for a nice notebook that could handle video editing on the go. MSI is probably known better for Gaming than Content Creation but I chose this laptop because of the very nice specs for the price point. In comparing this Laptop to a Asus StudioBook, both have 32GB Ram, the 2060 GPU and an i7. But what sold me was the 10th gen 8 core CPU on the MSI, and the build quality. This MSI has an aluminum body and feels very solid. Track-pad is quality and feels smooth to the touch. The display is also very high quality. The 4k Screen with Tru-color boasts a beautiful array of color palates. Switching to Adobe 100% RGB gave me noticeable depth to color. Performance wise I'm very happy. Amazingly fast, this laptop handles the Adobe Suite with no problem. Editing 4k footage in Premiere was perfectly smooth. I really like how the Creator Center allows you to boost performance of the machine for different applications. The only downside I've experienced is the speakers are extremely soft. I don't know if this is a driver issue or otherwise; but even at 100% volume, it's still to soft to hear. I'll have to reach out to MSI and report back on this one. Overall, i'm extremely pleased with the machine. High quality all the way around, perfect for Adobe Suite and video editing. Really nice components for the price point. I bought this for my Graphic Design, and Video Editing Work. I'm not a computer expert, so I'll give you my thought on the MSI Creator 15 laptop with my limited computer tech vocabulary. So far it load fast when turn on and the face recognition made login much faster. I like how the keyboard feel when typing, it have soft tap feel to it and not noisy. The track pad is very responsive, but a bit slick (I'll get use to it). The laptop does get a bit hot (when downloading my large creative program), and the fan noise isn't noticeable until you start processing large file. I recommend buying a usb c hub if you have many usb 3 connection because there only 1 usb 3 and 2 usb c. I love the feel and look of the laptop and the thin bezel, making good use of screen space. The laptop is a bit heavier then I expected for a 5.6 in, but I'll use it as a new weight lifting exercise lol. I still haven't use some of my adobe program, and 3D modeling program, so I can't say how well it will work. I'll give a update on the review after using this laptop for a few month. I just received this laptop, so I may provide an updated review after I have some time with it. So far I like the keyboard and track pad, the screen is brilliant, and the machine runs smooth and quiet. I need time to load all my apps and get into some video and photo editing to put it through it's paces. there is one item I did not think about that I will probably miss from my old laptop is now number pad. The registration, survey for extra 3 months of warranty, and promotion for free game are not working well. Survey and promotion boomed with errors. Probably need to contact MSI. ... show more

Excellent purchase .. especially for the cost! I tried to build a similar laptop and couldn't get to the same price point as this one. The 4k screen is ridiculously crisp. I only wish you could get the touchscreen option with the 4k screen.. but I bought this specifically for photo editing, soo... a sacrifice was made. I'm pretty sure the screen could be swapped down the road if I really felt like it was that important. So far, I haven't had any speed issues. 32gb of RAM with 6gb dedicated graphics RAM seems to handle everything well... plus having a 1tb SSD (rather than HDD) helps quite a bit. I haven't tried to run any games... but I'm not a PC gamer anyways. My only gripe is that the power button is dangerously close to the delete button... in fact, it's in the exact place the delete button would be on any other keyboard... so it's gonna take you a second to get used to not hitting it by accident when you're just trying to quickly delete a picture or file. Oh well. I ran an online benchmark program and it said that this laptop ranks in the top 88% percentile for overall performance among gaming computers. Thats pretty damned good considering the powerhouses out there that cost $4k or more... If you have the cash and you want to make sure that you've got something powerful enough to handle current and future software applications, this is probably the best bang for your buck. I was looking to replace my MSI laptop I got 5 years ago (prestige series) and this one is even better. Creator 15 has everything that I need and screen is just amazing. Very quite for regular use while running multiple application, no excessive heat either (rather no heat at all while using it for work). Creator Center software included with this laptop allow to swap system setting very quickly.
