We have had dogs lying on it, chairs sitting on it, and there are no tears at all. I am very pleasantly surprised. UPDATE: So it’s now September and the rug sat out all Summer with light usage. I noticed a few weeks ago that in the areas that have the most sun exposure, the white plastic has started to disintegrate and flake off, leaving a white dusting of plastic bits all over my patio. Kinda annoying, but if you’re patio is shaded maybe this would work for you. Overall the quality is what I expected for the price so I’m not too disappointed. I can flip the rug and use it for another season, or just trash it and not worry that I wasted so much money. It served it’s purpose. Love this rug! I read all the reviews so I knew the type of rug this was when I bought this - it’s plastic weave so my expextations weren’t super high, but when I opened the rug up it was actually better than I expected! I can’t say how it will hold up over time, but I think it will last the summer/fall at the very least. The color is definitely navy blue, you can see speckles of teal if you look closely under the sun. There is a seam down the center, but not a big deal since I have the umbrella base on it. The outer seams are a little rough on the back end (lighter side) I am showing, but if you like the darker side that won’t be an issue. My cat was worried out by it at first but as you can see he adjusted well too lol. It did get a bit warm under direct sun but still cooler than my deck when barefoot. I’m super stoked I got this rug and it was such a great price! My only wish is that I had gotten the bigger one.

I have had this rug for two years now on our lanai. It is plastic, which makes it great if you have dogs that shed. Very easy to sweep off. If it gets dirty you can just spray a little soap and water, give it a once over with a soft car wash brush and its good as new. Yes, there is a seam down the middle, but for the price, it's a non-issue. It will lay down after a while in the heat. I'm ordering another one today to put on our pool deck in half shade, half sun. We'll see how it holds up, but for a light traffic porch rug, it's perfect.

Not quite what I was expecting (thin, plastic-y), but still works great and is a good size, and totally worth the price. Designed for travelling, like in an RV when you want to set up a little patio, which is why it's thin - it folds up really small! (I was actually alarmed when the package arrived, because it was SO small that I was SURE it couldn't possibly be a 6'x9' rug!) I just didn't realize that it was for compact lightweight travel when I bought it. (It actually kinda makes me want to try RV'ing because the prospect of setting up a little "home away from home" complete with a patio sounds charming!) Love the pattern and color, and that it's reversible (more navy with white accent OR more white with navy accent). Not sure how it'll hold up to the feet of our patio chairs (again, designed for compact folding travel chairs, not more substantial metal chairs like ours) since they may dent the plastic-y "fabric," but still happy with the purchase - worth the price and does exactly what it says it should (now that I've read the details lol) - and it fits my needs.

This is a very pretty rug, but it is very plastic feeling, mine has been outside for a month, I thought all of the rain would help with the creases from where it was folded. But it hasn’t helped it. All the creases are big and very noticeable my chairs catch on the rug when I moving them in and out. I will continue to use them until they fall apart.. If you don’t have something heavy setting on the rug the wind will get up under it and it will fly away!!! Very lightweight.. I’m not that happy with the rug.

Bought this rug for our deck back in May. We just put it away for the winter last weekend! I wanted to wait to post a review to see how it held up all summer. A lot of reviews stated it was bad quality and didn’t hold up. I found that to be false. This rug is made up of like plastic straws but is surprisingly cushiony on the feet! It is a navy and white. I know people also complained about the kinks in it but I also didn’t have that issue. It also cleans super well. I’m kids spilt multiple things on this, from spaghetti to popsicles, and to be honest I never cleaned it. The rain or hose water washed it away. Super low maintenance rug. We also have messy cotton wood trees and the drop saplings and cotton. Both were super easy to sweep off the rug. The saplings stain things really bad but never stained the rug. Our deck is not covered and is in the direct sun for about 6-8 hours a day so it gets super hot from the sun and unenjoyable. This year we were on our deck the whole summer and really enjoyed how this rug made it feel homey! Rug still looks brand new after 6 months of use! No fading or fraying! 5 stars in my book!!

I shopped a long time for an outside rug for our patio. The rug is beautiful. The straw dries really quickly and it wipes down easily for spills ( I have three kids ). It is also cool under the sun which was important for us because one of those kids is a crawler. There is a seam down the middle like others have mentioned but it doesn't take away from the design at all. Your legs of the furniture can poke through this rug so be mindful to pick up the furniture instead of dragging it. For the price though it is worth getting and using till damaged and then just buying a new one if needed.
