The best brush I have ever had. The bristles are so soft and comfortable. The bamboo is so nice and the handle is really solid and well made. It's easy to hold and doesn't damage your hair. This Bamboo hair brush is very well made and feels high quality. I used a similar brush for almost 15 years that I loved so I was hoping I’d love this one. It’s ok for my hair. I have long, fine, straightish hair but a lot of hair. My daughters is pretty much the same. We both felt it was easy to hold and comfortable in our hand. Unfortunately, for our hair type it’s just ok. It feels like it’s making more tangles when we brush. So I think it’s adding volume to our hair, which is good, but to get that affect it’s somehow causing slight tangles. It’s exactly the same user experience on my hair wet or dry. But, it feels like it will last a long time and is environmentally friendly and with this low price I am pretty happy so those are big pluses in my book! ... show more

    • Feels Nice But Isn't That Effective
So I have really long but really thin hair. The thick wooden bristles are great at massaging my head and making my scalp feel great. The bristles are gentle when I am brushing and they won't scratch you. Unfortunately the nature of the really large bristles makes them really worthless for actually brushing out any tangles. I feel like it more pulls at my hair than brushing out my tangles. The handle of the brush feels pretty sturdy but I don't really feel like the piece of fabric that the bristles are on is well attached to the brush head. Like pulling on it enough will rip the two apart. For this reason if you have long hair or thick hair I would probably look for a different brush. This brush is definitely more well suited to someone with thinner shorter hair. ... show more

    • Okay, not as good as my rectangle one
This brush is okay, but it will not be my favorite. I have long and thick hair, and I am finding it is not as good as the rectangle one I already had in getting tangles out. I never really felt like any of these types of brushes massaged my scalp. I mainly like to use them to get away from plastic ones, and I prefer adding drops of essential oils to these instead of the plastic. ... show more
