Electrical connector for the heating unit was not compatible for my 2006 honda trx 350. I had to either hard wire or cut the connector from the original carb and splice. I chose the latter. The choke cable does not seem to work as well as original. The carb installation was easy and ran well and the price was right. ... show more

    • Failed the second time I used it.
I purchased this with the hopes of having a decent carb that would last a little while at least. Once the carb arrived it was probably 2 weeks before I had time to install it along with a new petcock, fuel filter, new gas line as well as cleaning the tank. Started up fairly easily once installed. It looks exactly like the original besides the plug end that is mentioned in other reviews. I drove it around the farm a little and it did great. Had great acceleration and absolutely no issues. About 2 weeks later...the day I'm writing this review I started it up again to pull a lawn cart to the compost pile at the other end of the property and it acted like it was running out of gas. I figured maybe I had the petcock in the wrong position but did not. I kept trying to restart it and after several minutes I succeeded but only after cutting the fuel off because I noticed the overflow was steadily pouring gas. I'm going to take a guess and say that the float may be stuck but I didn't feel like fighting with it today. Came inside and looked at my order history and wouldn't you know it that the return window passed yesterday. Lesson learned. If you purchase this carb just know that there is a possibility that you will have to either work on it or return it for one that does work and you best try it out good before the window closes. I will say that it looks like it is made well and doesn't look or feel cheap so maybe I just received a reject. Good luck. ... show more

IVE REBUILT MY 2004 HONDA RANCHER CARB MANY TIMES BUT THIS TIME CHOKE VALVE STUCK IN CARB SO I LOOKED ON LINE AND FOUND THIS BABY, IT LOOKS AND WORKS LIKE NEW !!

    • Good so far.Turned to junk bought OEM
Works well so far. Installed in about an hour. The heater connection required splicing. It’s a direct bolt up otherwise. The factory hose clips are easy to damage during removal so I ordered new ones. I am hoping I don’t have the issues listed in some of the reviews but so far it runs better than it did new.Starts, idles and runs good with no adjustments: UPDATE: started leaking through primer, I already discarded the original so I will send this back and try to find an OEM replacement ... show more
