But the instructions are adequate and more detailed either way. Installed in a 21x28 insulated garage in our new house. Installed myself. Everything went as planned. I wish there was an option for shorter tubing as I only needed about 9ft, but it turned out good anyway. Works GREAT! Love the DRY setting here in SC. Humid as a bass turd here!

Beware of this brand! This company advertises a one year warranty. The unit we purchased displays an error code that shows a defective compressor. Their "warranty" means I must purchase an ohm meter and test the wiring and check the valves myself, which I don't how to do. I was told they only offer tech support online. They don't have any service outlets to physically check the unit and told me I will have to pay to have it fixed. Unless you are able to work on your own unit don't do business with mr. cool! ... show more

Excellent solution for a hot house and high bills! If you can't do the usual duct system AC, this gem is the answer. 1. My house stays consistently cool even when it's 90 out. I was using window units in every room before and this replaced them all. 2. It makes almost zero noise. So quiet I kept checking to make sure it was working at first! 3. It does take a bit of work to install, but my son, a very handy guy, did it easily. Took him about 6 hours total. Not complicated though. If I were younger and in better shape, I could have done it myself. 4. On top of all that, my energy bill is about 1/3 of what it was. This will pay for itself in two summers. 5. It looks so nice. Much nicer looking than a window unit. (See pic). I haven't used this as a heat source yet. But I'll update when I do! ... show more
