The accuracy of this thermostat is lacking quite a bit. Think it’s off 15° but once I let the heater run for a bit I was able to tell where I like it set. And the mercury thermometer is pretty accurate. Very difficult to turn on from the off position with big fingers but I leave mine on all the time so it doesn’t really bother me too much. ... show more

I've always used Honeywell and their "round" thermostat for heat only has a battery in it and if that battery - which both 2- I ordered prior to receiving the Mr. Heater, were both dead and did not work. My DO NOT FREEZE items all froze! I highly recommend this product and no longer will purchase HONEYWELL off AMAZON. ... show more

the tech for dual material thermostats has been around for decades, hard to mess it up, but this company did. it was almost 15 degrees of on the low side. the unit maxes out at 75 degrees but only provided 62 degrees. defiantly no quality control. and cheaply produced. don't buy it....
