Good, simple thermostat.
Works great with my 80,000btu Big Maxx heater. Does NOT come with the wiring to run between heater and the thermostat, which was disappointing, but ok. I do appreciate that you can turn thermostat to OFF.

Does the job

Not a quality product.
This thermostat gets too hot before shutting off then gets too cold before turning on. Replaced with a digital and it works much better.

good product
used it for my overhead garage furnace, easy to install, works fine, but the temp gage isn't accurate... doesn't matter actually just pick a position and leave it there,,, OH its reasonable

Cheep thermostat not a good buy!
This item did not work for me. The furnace would cycle okay for awhile then suddenly it wild run continuously and my garage would be 90 degrees when the temp was set to 45. Finally had to call a heating pro who said the thermostat was bad, he replaced it for a healthy price the furnace now works well. Buy a good thermostat to start with you will save in the long run! ... show more

Nice basic thermostat
Good basic low temperature "ON/OFF" switch. The model I have is the RK134EAY millivolt thermostat. I wanted a basic switch for a low temperature alarm in a specific area. This meets the need - no frills, no internal settings, and no "anticipation" circuit. The design does not appear to be mounting angle dependent in the slightest, but have not tested this. (I don't really care). I'm not after absolute accuracy, just a low temp "caution" alarm switch. ONLY limitation is its inherent on/off range (hysteresis) seems quite wide. When I have time I will test this and update this post if possible, but it may be a while. If you are looking for a very basic low temperature, low power, low current switch this little critter seems to meet the need. ... show more

Temp setting lever is flexible.
Good for the price. The only thing negative is the temperature setting lever. It’s flexible. So you have to go past the temperature you want to set, and then it’ll spring back to your temperature setting. Makes it inaccurate and hard to set precisely. Works well in my garage. It was difficult to find a thermostat that could go down to a low temperature just above freezing.
