These are so cute! My partner was doubtful about how well they would work, but they were great! Most of the settings are quite dim, so I would only use them if you didn’t really need to be able to see super well, like if you wanted it mostly dark to enjoy the fire, but didn’t want to trip over anything either. In these photos, they’re on the brightest setting. I think the first photo is a little misleading as to their brightness, since it was a night photo with a 3 second exposure, so it looks brighter. I turned off that setting for the second pic. Anyway, it rained on us like crazy, and it was super dark outside, and these lit the area perfectly. I never had to use the lantern. The charging thing got wet on the outside and still seems fine. I wish I could speak as to how long they last when run on high, but our tent leaked and all of the blankets got wet, so we ended up going home early, and didn’t get to use these as much as I had hoped. But my skeptical partner said that they were definitely a win, and they ended up working far better than he had anticipated. 😊 I kinda wish they had a blinking “twinkle light” function too. ... show more

Love these Great battery life, they look great and the light color is just what I want. The portability is awesome and the size of the base is perfect We use on all our camping trips My only wish is that there were more lights on the string. Super fun way to light up camp!

Used it for the first time this weekend. It is well designed and easy to use. 3 different light levels is nice and glad it was waterproof. It went through a decent rain storm with no issues.

I was looking for a good quality string light to take with me camping. These looks great so I got it. What I like about it is the string quality feels great, the light is bright, and the cable long. I like how it's self contained so it is easy to store. The built in power bank makes it convenient so I don't have to use my other power banks to power it. Things I don't like or can be improved: The biggest grip I have is the string light isn't connected to the power bank by default. The end of the cable is stored in an empty storage port. So you have to unwind all of the cord, then plug it into the power bank. So if you want to only use half the cord, no luck, you have to unwind the whole thing. Additionally, if you have it all wind up and the case open, it would have been a great opportunity to use the lights as a lantern. But since it's not connected to the power bank winded up, no such feature. Leaving it plugged in isn't an option because the cable will stick straight out putting stress on the connection. I believe the idea was so that you don't accidentally turn on the lights while it's in the case. But I figure making a power button that doesn't get accidentally turn on would have been a smarter idea. The case is on the larger size so it is hard to get a good grip to twist open. It should have something on the bottom to help with grip. The solar panel is nice to have but it isn't that great of a feature. It's so small it would take a long time to charge the power bank. I would have rather no solar panel and other better features. Overall, good product and I'm happy to have it but not quite perfect. ... show more

I got these to use while tent camping where no electricity is available. They worked very well and were so easy to use. We were in a large, three room tent and chose to set them up in our “sitting room”. They were super easy to unravel from the spool and hang from loops inside the tent. I hung the charger panel in the window and they charged all day without me having to think twice about it. We loved the variable lighting, using low light to keep easy visibility for moving around and the higher light for when we wanted to play cards. Over the course of four nights we used them for several hours each night and never ran out of charge. I also loved how easy it was to just wind them up and pack them away NEATLY for the next trip. I see myself taking them on every camping trip, regardless of whether or not there is electricity available. I would definitely recommend. ... show more

YO, when i tell you i ordered these expecting them to half work as claimed youd be right. But i was very very wrong, these lights are the best solar anything ive owned in a long time. they charge to full in about 7 hours, but the great thing is is that just sitting in my living room next to a window on the shelf the charge light comes on. that little amount of light activated the solar charging. then theres the 3 modes of brightness, the low setting lasts me about a week to a week and a half, medium setting(which is so bright) lasts me a week solid, high setting which is holy crap bright last 4 days from dark to bed time around 1 or 2am. all the settings ive used from sundown usually 7pm-2am everyday. i only once let it run all the way dead and the rest of the time it collects energy even on cloudy days. the solar cell they used is really good. the whole thing feels cheap but dont be fooled. the lights and string itself and corded and water resistant or full waterproof. i went on a 3 day adventure and it rained everyday, the lights hung outside the entire time and that was awhile ago and they are still kicking. Also to not the light string and the the solar base detach from one another so you can leave your lights hung wherever and take the base to hang a charge in any location. i will be buying 2 more 40ft length units in the near future. ... show more

These were great to light up my wagon on Halloween and to bring ambiance to my nights on the bocce court. They're a lot bulkier than fairy lights, but don't tangle up which is great. I wish they made these without the solar charger to save space. I love all the colors and how easy these are to use, though the light itself makes me a bit dizzy if I end up looking at it. Also can't figure out how the dimmer works. ... show more
