    • Simple little light, convenient.
I have purchased two of these lights over the last year or so. They have come in convenient as emergency lighting for power outages, and for outdoor camping. They don't put off a ton of light, but they're just right for small activities or if you get several of them they will light up an area well. They need direct bright sunlight for charging, and It takes a while for them to charge, but they hold their charge well and the light lasts a long time on low setting. Obviously it goes quicker on higher light settings. As previously indicated, it needs a lot of sunlight to charge, but it's convenient to have a solar powered (charged) light. Being able to collapse them is good for storage, and they blow up easily and quickly. Definitely recommend two or three if you want to light up a small area or Workstation. Best to use them periodically to maintain the charging capability, don't just put them away & pull them out when you need them. Overall would definitely recommend, I will most likely purchase more in the future. ... show more

These are great for camping. Create a wonderful ambiance, as the sun sets. Make is easy to find camp if you are out in the canoe a little too long.

I love that this solar lantern is inflatable so it packs down small for camping trips or travel. Gives a decent amount of light as a lantern. I have had many people ask me about this lantern. I always recommend it. I can clip it onto my backpack as I am hiking so it is charged for the evening.

This light has come in handy! I bought it for camping really but I've used it many times at home. It's fun mood lighting at night or sometimes I use it when on Zoom /Facetime calls with people at night just for added fun. It also came in handy when we had blackouts. It is bright! I put it in the middle of my apartment and I could see well enough to get around without bumping into anything. If I hold it I can use it like a flashlight. It's great! Probably not the perfect reading light but it's bright enough for ambient light. Charges quickly in the sun, although it kind of makes me nervous to leave the plastic baking in the heat. So I try to charge it in the morning and then put it away. I know some campers leave it on their car dash all the time, I would not. The colors are pretty subtle but fun. There is a somewhat flimsy little strap on the top to hang it. I attach a small carabiner. You can also just blow it up and set it down on any surface. The material is exactly like a pool toy/beach ball. The buttons to turn it on and select the colors are a bit annoying. There is a second button to show the charge level. I almost always hit this button first when trying to turn it on or off. So yeah, kind of annoying. In the scheme of things though it is no big deal. Overtime it seems not to fully charge and one of the “charge indicator lights” never seem to light up. That’s annoying. I hope it lasts. I wish the battery part could be replaced id hate to toss this in a landfill. I think this thing is a great addition to an emergency kit or camping kit. ... show more

Used for travel. I like that it’s solar and wall chargeable. Haven’t tried solar yet but wall charger worked for several hours and still has 2 bars left. Nice light to see people at dinner when power went out but not sure about reading. Very lightweight and collapsible.

    • I have been using Luci Lights for emergency lighting for years
Where I live, the power can go out for days or even weeks at a time. So when I need emergency lighting, I can depend on Luci. I just put them in the southeast windows and they’re ready when the power goes out. I actually tried buying another brand a few years ago, which were more expensive. In the last power outage, the off other brand lights were out within a few hours, while the Luci Lights kept on going. The last long outage lasted 2 days and one of the Luci Lights was still going without recharging. I just bought 2 new Luci Lights (as per this review ) & am ecstatic that I can now charge them through USB charge as well as in a sunny window. Good thing as I am running out of windows. Luci Lights has been giving us dependable lighting now for over 20 years. ... show more

I've owned one of these for years and love it, so I bought so.e more for gifts. They're light weight, battery life will shine all night long with no problem, charging is easy (USB or solar), and very durable.
