Super easy install. Took less than an hour and works as expected with the stock toyota keyfob so I don't need an extra remote on my keychain. It is important to note that all remote starters will turn the car off when the door opens which sucks but not a defect in this device.

I really wanted this MPC remote start kit to work, but the experience was a mess from the start. The programming never took, even after carefully repeating every step multiple times. No matter what I did, the van refused to start with the remote system. When I called MPC for help, I expected immediate support since I already had my interior panels removed. Instead, they told me I had to be put on a waitlist for a scheduled support session. That was extremely disappointing. I didn’t want to reinstall everything only to take it apart again later, and the lack of real-time help made the whole process even more frustrating. In the end, I gave up, boxed everything back up, and returned it. I bought another brand’s remote start kit afterward, and the difference was night and day. It worked on the first try, the programming went smoothly, and the entire installation took me only 30 minutes. I didn’t have to call support at all because the instructions were clear and the product actually functioned the way it should. After this experience, I can’t recommend MPC at all. It wasted my time, caused unnecessary frustration, and still didn’t work. The replacement product proved it doesn’t have to be this complicated.

This remote start was easy to install and took me less than 30 minutes. However, Instructions could be more clear regarding the optional additional hood switch and valet key that come with the kit. I might have to add RF range extender because the remote range was worst before installing the remote starter.

There is supposed to be a QR code on the packaged invoice that directs you to the install instructions, but in my case it was just an X. After I did find the instructions, which really wasn't that hard (just search by the number on the invoice or on the box), installation was quite easy. In my case the car shuts off when _any_ door is opened, not just the driver's door, but that's not really an issue.

This was super easy to install. I actually watch a competitor product (which had a video) on how to remove the dash around the steering column. This video was for a product made by viper. I would say MPC should find a way to do the same content. Aside from that I was able to install this in less than an hour. But there is 0 instructions when it comes to the valet/hood latch feature. Again searching online I found another MPC product (I think for a ford) that gave more details. Basically the instructions work and all, but there is room for improvement. If you have 0 technical aptitude I wouldn't buy this, but if you are a problem solver it's no sweat. The only other BIG issue I have right now is my headlights work "sometimes". My Sienna has Auto, Running, Manual-on for headlight control. The Auto seems to function flawless, but when I switch to Manual (all the way forward) it only runs the running lights. It's a sometimes thing though. I can't figure out the pattern. For example It will work when I'm driving to the store, but not on the way home. It's temperamental. In full disclosure I have yet to contact tech support, so don't know if there is a solve. But it has me feeling that I might be finding other things that suddenly don't work.
