This was my first time buying a PSU from Gigabyte and I was upgrading my Graphics Card. I was a little hesitant considering I've read on Reddit and other places that there were some Gigabyte models that caught on fire, etc. (I'm sure you may have heard about them) After doing some research, I've discovered that the problem was discovered and rectified. That was an older model. They fixed the problem and re-worked the design and released this model and named it UD for "Ultra Durable". As of the writing of this review I have had NO problems with my 750 watt PSU. It came with all cables I needed and is fully modular. Everything hooked up and installed like a breeze. If anything, I would think since that happened in the past, they would make SURE that these PSUs were good considering the scrutiny they would face. Everything I've seen from this PSU has been nothing but good. Feels and looks like a quality PSU should. I can definitely recommend this model. This PSU got a "B" score on the PSU tier list and is one of the most affordable Gold rated ones you can buy from a reputable brand made with quality components. If anything happens I will update but so far so good!

This psu isn’t used much that i know of, but if you’re on a budget & want something reliable. This is it. They say dont cheap out on psu & although its still somewhat up there in price, its not that expensive compared to most. I got mine used(like new) & it amazing. Now i dont need the full 750w, i needed like 600w. But i havent had any issues with it, i run a mid tier setup & have 6 fans all through a fan hub, 7 if you include my cpu, a b650 board & a 4060ti with 32gb 6400mhz ram. This thing handles it no problem. My only complain is that the cables arent labeled, so me being a 1st time pc builder & user(user as in me transitioning from console, ive used a pc before) it was a lil bit of a hassle trying to figure out which cables are which & mainly what end goes into the psu & what end goes into the mobo. Fully modular & really good length cables. I have a mid tower case & i have more than enough length for everything. Highly recommend this psu for those on a budget💯P.S. the labels are upside down, its not a problem, is a bit weird. Meaning it will seam like you have your psu in the wrong way.

Updatr. We called gigabyte and after figuring out their return process they repaired our power supply. They have a really good warranty, so thats a plus. One star off for the bad units. So far so good. We have had two of these fail within a matter of months. We thought that the first time was a fluke but the second went the same way, a popping noise on startup then nada.

I got this PSU as an upgrade for my PC. Before installing this new one I had no issues. Upon installing, having everything plugged in correctly and making sure all boxes were check I went to power on my system. The main switch on this PSU popped and turned right off. After some careful inspecting I could find no faults. I had everything plugged where it should be and the PSU was more than enough for the other components I had. So I tried again and it ran for a minute or two before switching off again. This time I tried to install my old PSU and was just going to send this one back only to find my motherboard was dead!!!! This PSU somehow shorted out my motherboard and now I zero graphics input from any of the gpu's I put in and boot errors. I would not recommend buying this and I'm incredibly upset. A simple upgrade turned into a nightmare and now I am buying a whole new PC.

This Power supply works as advertised for my microAtx build. Easy to install, cables are nice(they’re fully modulated so ofc). There is minimum to low noise, you barely notice my pc is on unless there’s a game absolutely demanding much power it’s still not concerning. Great value PSU. I recommend it. 5 stars cuz why not UPDATE: After 13 months I have had No issues with it.
