Product works great, installation was a breeze on a 16 Highlander. Product rating is 5 stars, customer service should be 1 Star. When I accidentally drained my battery during install and the truck wouldn’t start and it threw a “Check Engine” light on, I thought something went wrong with the install/product and began calling support. They never answered, and though I left voicemails, they never called back. Fortunately, after charging the battery and taking it for a drive to clear the error codes, it started working fine. Great product; but fair warning, if you need help, likely will not get it from the company selling the product.

I am a 49 year old female. I used the video and installed the remote start by myself in about an hour, on my 2015 Toyota Highlander. This was so easy and works great. The only issue I had was that my car battery died after making sure the remote start worked. I may need a new battery. I dont believe it was any issue with tje remote start. I do believe after pushing the lock button (3 times) it does take a bit longer get to start compared to factory installed remote starts.

I bought this for my husband's newly purchased 2015 Highlander. Living in North Dakota, a remote starter is hugely impactful to allow your car to preheat. I was prepared to spend 6x , probably more, what this unit costs. Do keep in mind that it uses the factory key fob, which means the range will only be as far as that fob will reach, but if distance isn't your concern, this is the kit for you. It installed incredibly easily. We were nervous that it would be complicated or require splicing, but we needn't have feared. The trickiest part is getting off the interior panels, but that's always a nerve wracking experience. The rest was easy as toast. We are so happy with this product so far. Recommended with extreme prejudice!

I was kinda worried about buying it for my 2019 toyota highlander due to some of the feedback left but I'm glad I did. I have had 3 bad back surgeries and so it took me a while to install it but I'm sure it will be worth it when it comes to winter weather. It powers on by hitting it 3 times and powers off by hitting the button 3 times or when you open the door.

This starter got me through this past winter and it was a cold one. It is a do it yourself installation so if you are handy, I would suggest it. Definitely watch the videos carefully. They were very helpful. It was a plug-in play connection so there should not be anything other than a screwdriver required to remove the dashboard parts.
