The case could not house all my stands the drum throne and the foot pedal. I only had the snare stand three cymbal stands, mounted rack tom stand and sock cymbal stand. The equipment that I did get in didn't allow the bag to roll smoothly. It twisted and flipped. There is no support in the bottom of the bag to keep the wheels steady.

After just a couple uses, the bag already has a tear near the handle strapping. With the bag nearly full, my son went to pick it up and the bag ripped.

This bag is advertised for drum hardware but in reality it is ill-suited for the task. There is no support on the bottom of the bag, so when I tried to roll it with my hardware in it (not a lot, 2 cymbal stands, 1 snare stand and a hi hat stand), the bag would continuously roll over because the wheels were spreading out and angling out due to the sagging between them from the weight. After loading out, I was zipping the bag and the zipper came apart. This bag might be good for traveling with clothes, but not a good match for drum hardware or any other sort of equipment or regular use. Certainly not worth the cost.

What to like? 1) Reasonably durable nylon outer fabric layer 2) A bit of padding sewn into the interior 3) Stiff dowels/rods in the bottom with some rubber drag-pads 4) Wheels are okay Unfortunately, there are a lot of small things that are indicative of poor material choice for the job, poor construction choice that will cause the bag to wear out too soon, or poor design decisions that render features useless or even annoying. Examples: 5) The interior lining is VERY thin polyester. I'm sure it will be the first point of failure, absolutely shredded by finger nuts, screw rods, hi-hat shafts, and maybe even the rubber feet of the stands. 6) There is a long flap with a zipper on each side. This flap has a hook-and-loop fastener strip on the end. The other hook-and-loop strip on the bag to which this fastens is about 2 inches WIDER than the strip on the flap, and so it interferes with properly closing the zipper. 7) The handles/straps are stitched directly to the outer ballistic nylon fabric instead of through the fabric to a sturdier backing piece. Additionally, the stitching is fairly frugal. This is the next most likely point of failure (behind the lining getting shredded), because the straps are already starting to pull away and become unstitched after just two gigs transporting 3 stands plus the drum throne stand in this. 8) There are two thin straps inside the back with hook-and-loop fasteners, presumably to help secure stands so they don't rattle around inside the bag during transport. However, at their smallest configuration with the hook-and-loop section, they are nearly as large as the interior of the bag itself. Which means they are doing essentially nothing. Perhaps they are designed to reinforce the integrity of the bag slightly, but I don't think they'll actually accomplish this. 9) There's no shoulder strap and no good place to affix your own. Overall this is a very basic bag for moving drum stands and does not offer a strong value for the $99 price at the time of this review.

I wish I knew about hardware bags when I was first getting started (pre-internet). I was using a huge plastic tub and a hand-jack. This bag will solve that problem for sure. It is well padded on the sides and interior bottom. Side pockets are good, but I felt they could have also added north and south exterior zipper pockets on the narrow sides. All handles and shoulder straps are good quality. In my opinion, the wheels will not last forever, a fingernail easily scratched the surface. Also, there is some faux leather on the bottom protecting some support braces that I don't think will stand up to repeated dragging. For these reasons, I think the value for the money is a little uneven. However, this is a great entry-level bag for the bare essentials sized gig kit.
