Bought this kit for an 07 JKU and it works flawlessly. The installation instructions were fairly straight forward. If you have issues with the installation or are not that mechanically inclined there are several videos to choose from on YouTube. Just as an FYI this kit WILL work with a manual transmission. You will need to run a "bypass" on the clutch switch. They will not endorse this due to safety and liability concerns, good for them. If you do this with a manual transmission you need to make ABSOLOUTLEY SURE your vehicle is in neutral and the parking brake is set. FAFO =)

I installed this on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The only issue I had during the install was getting the plug unplugged from the immobilizer. Luckily the 2015 still had the clamshell case around the steering wheel without the lip so it came off super easy. The plug from the immobilizer was not so easy. I finally had to break down and ask my wife if I could borrow her small fingers to help get in there and help to get the tab on the backside pushed in. With both of us working at it we finally got it unplugged. After that, the rest went smoothly and I had it connected and programmed in about 15 mins. It works great. Just watch the videos before hand. I watched a few of them before doing the job.

I have had this installed for about a week now and love it so far. Biggest detractor I have for this product is lack of instructions (i did not even get a qr code to online instructions like others did in the videos) i couldnt get a link to the instruction form the mpc website either and had to rely on several youtube videos (found one from mpc that was not correct which was funny). I have a 2017 wrangle sahara unlimited. I did not need to cut the green wire. Found this out after following instructions on the mpc video and cutting it. This caused an issue where it would start then immediately turn back off with the key. Worked fine when I reconnected the green wire. I also do not have a red security light on which some say i would if i left that wire connected. I also have ro remove the steering wheel which was easy enough due to the lip on the plastic on the column.
