I really like the woody, deep sound of this bansuri. I am a professional musician and have been really wanting a bansuri for a while. Decided to try out a couple on Amazon (not my first choice) since I can test and return with ease. I found this one to be very nice for the price, especially compared to others that were more expensive. I ended up keeping this bansuri in the end. The upper register (second octave) is not so easy to play (a challenge with all bansuri flutes) but with practice it has become easier. Flute is quite loud, warm, woody sound. Excited to get more experience and ease so I can record and play with friends!

I purchased a G bansuri. The quality is great, love the sound and it is perfectly tuned. I tried a few years ago to purchase bansuri from ebay but the quality was not great and it was incorrectly tuned. I learn bansuri from the Easy flute school tutorials on youtube. He made me fell in love with the G bass. I just ordered the G bass and the C bass. If you are a beginner start with D or C middle one, over time you can play G bass and only after getting very good with G bass (the hand needs to stretch a bit) you can try an E bass. This vendor is great, he is fast at responding and clearly has great flutes.

I've been playing flute for years. The first thing I tested with this flute once it landed in my hands was the swar PA(note G). I could play PA swar effortlessly with all the holes closed or five fingers closed, tonal quality didn't change at all & that what makes this a really good flute. All notes sound sweet & clean. You can easily reach two octaves on this flute flawlessly, no issues. No stupid manufacturer markings on the flute which makes it real original with no compromises on the quality at all. Highly Recommended!
