Physical damage or damage due to improper installation will void the manufacturer's warranty. Within the first year you can contact us for warranty issues. The product must be returned to us at the customer's expense in order for us to perform warranty service. After the first year, warranty issues must be handled directly through the manufacturer. The manufacturer will require a receipt from the original purchase. Product specific warranty information will be included with the product packaging. Instructions fully cover what you need to know. No cutting, splicing or anything with wires. Just unplug 3 fairly easily accessible plugs and plug them into the supplied harness and plug the harness plugs into the original places. The only problem I had was self-inflicted: When you try to get the bottom screw out of the steering wheel column, pull the steering wheel out to it's fullest. (I cursed and screamed as to how difficult it was to get to until I remembered the steering wheel comes out further... DOH!) Also, I was concerned with "Teeing" to the OBD Connector (this is one of the accessible plugs you replace) so I tested with my OBD Reader: Worked perfectly, the unit is undetected. How does it work? Install took about a half hour, Instructions are OK but it took me a couple tries before I got the programming right. There is a time limit which is a bit confusing. But i figured it out. The only thing i didn't care for, is the connectors are very hard to disconnect from the device. So, i advise to have a little yellow fuse puller handy in case you don't get the sequence right the first time like i did. Other than that, great product. Very happy. ... show more

While the device ultimately does what is promised, the instructions were incorrect and I was struggling hours wondering what was I doing incorrectly??!! I finally consulted two YouTube videos and found out that the instructions were incorrect and I was right but the changes described in the instructions did not occur for the 2013 Focus. And so thanks to YouTube, I was able to get the product operational--otherwise I would have had to return this product to Amazon. ... show more

Follow the instruction, wasn’t too difficult to install and works great. The runtime is15 minutes, wish it was at least 30 for us out here in the Midwest, where the mornings are really cold and would take more than 15 minutes to warm the inside of the vehicle.. Other than that it’s a great product!

We bought a remote starter for our sons car last Christmas. We were not able to install it until almost a year later. When we went to install it the Module was not powering up as it should have. After some emails back and forth they exchanged the module. Hooked everything back up again and still the Module was not powering up. More emails back and forth and found out a mistake was make with the harness wiring. MPC offered to replace the harness or I could swap the wires. I swapped the wires and my son hooked everything else up. The rest of the install took less the 30 minutes! I would give more then 5 stars if I could. The product support is the best! ... show more

I installed this unit on my 2015 Focus. It worked one time then stopped working immediately. Then my car wouldn't start at all even with the key. I contacted MPC customer support which was a pain to even talk to an actual person. After walking through everything again with them they determined my control box must be bad and to send it back for exchange. After exchanging and installing the new control it once again worked one time and then immediately quit working. Now I have removed this unit entirely and my car still will not start. Now my car has been at the dealership for a week trying to figure out exactly what damage this piece of junk has done to my car. ... show more

I purchased this for a Xmas gift for my wife's commuter, a 2013 Ford Focus. It sat in the box for a few weeks and I finally got around to installing it today. I was pleased when I went to the website (listed on the product box), the install instructions were very detailed and specific to the vehicles features. I opted for the standard unit which uses the factory fob, but the extended range antenna or cell interface really wouldn't add to the difficulty of the install. My 2013 has the standard key and the door lock button on the lower radio bezel, if your lock switch is in the door there are a few wires you need to splice into in the drivers kick panel, my install was a true "plug and play". You also need to have two coded keys that start the vehicle, so be prepared for that. I was in the 12 volt auto install industry for 26 years, this product is as good as any of the remote integration equipment that we used (DEI, Clifford, Maestro, IDataLink). No check engine lights, very forward install with great product support after the purchase. I would highly recommend this product. ... show more
