While the bike does come "mostly" assembled. There are several problems that the directions for assembly do not even hint at. The wide tires in particular are prone to not seating correctly and they come not aired or seated you must do this. Despite myself having experience with ordinary mountain bikes I ended up blowing out a tire and had to replace it. Further the disc brakes sit too tight and slow the bike scrape the disc even when not engaged I will have to adjust this once I get the tire to seat properly. The bike itself is definitely of good quality though I question the tire and tube sizes provided they seem too big and is part of my problem seating it correctly. The bike is surprisingly comfortable and I have back problems so that's no easy task. The weight of the bike is quite heavy but that is good when you want to keep the thief's away. As for manual peddling of the bike it is somewhat lacking in the gear choices and feels like it could be better but the chain system is built to be very robust and is likely the cause of having only about 7 gears. The bike is fast and powerful despite its heavy weight I am looking forward to using it once u get all the little quirks and problems worked out. Many of which could be avoided if they simply sent the tires and tubes already on the rims and Aired up. having that part professionally done would greatly aid their customers. Update: Got it working correctly, had to deflate and reseat the innertube massaging it in and slowly inflating it to get it to work properly, the tube could easily be an inch smaller in diameter and probably fit better for it. Got the disc brakes adjusted correctly so they don't scrape and still have good stopping power. The ride is incredibly smooth now, the smoothest bike ride I've ever had, the range of motion on it's shocks is huge to make this happen. This can be a little disorienting to get used to if your an avid biker, you won't get the kind of feedback from the road you are accustomed to when biking.
