  • A mouse trap I can use that won't hurt my birds.
I live in a very old (over 100 years) house in the country. As much as I've tried to seal it up the foundation is flagstone and sometimes mice get in. Usually in the spring and fall. I have birds as pets and they are out of the cage during the day. With birds comes seed and food pellets. Though I clean the cages and vacuum constantly the birds are quite efficient at throwing it around. This of course attracts the mice. I can't use poison and I can't stomach using glue traps. So I usually use traditional spring type traps. I put them out at night and disarm them during the day. There has been a couple of times I have forgotten. Luckily there has been no accidents but it still worries me. I really like the idea of using this as I can't see forgetting to take it out of the bird room since it's so large. Even if I did and one of my smaller birds fell in it's not likely they would be hurt. I also like that I don't have to deal with dead mice. I can simply release them at the edge of the property in the woods. ... show more

  • It works!
I was skeptical that this would work because mice and rats are not stupid. However, I baited it with peanut butter and Slim Jims and already have a dead mouse. It snaps right onto a 5-gallon bucket, the ramp makes it easy for the rodents to get up to the bait, and then they drop right into the bucket. Make sure you fill the bucket with water first (that's what the pest control guy told me to do). Or you can try to use it to catch them live and release them elsewhere. I like that it is an easy setup, it doesn't contain poison so if a cat or or some other critter goes for the bait, it's not going to hurt them. It is also a much better alternative to the glue traps as well, and it is also re-useable. Just re-bait and reset it where you need it and the mice find it over and over again. ... show more

  • Rodent Bucket lid Trap
Assembly required. Fits together like a snap together Lincoln log set. No instructions needed and they are not included. It all snaps together pretty easily and forms into a rigid functional rodent bucket lid trap. You’ll have to supply the bucket and the bait…the cheese shape roof and sides will not attract rodents but, might attract a slightly blind two legged cheese thief :) The two piece walkway ladder snaps together to form a single piece where it in turn fits in the slots made for it along the rim. This is how the rodents would climb, walk up or do the fantango up to the bait that you set on the trap pivoting floor. I haven’t tested it yet but, I’m sure It will work fine as designed. TIP: if you fill your bucket about a 1/4 full of water you’ll never hear a complaint from the silent floating rodents who fell into this ingenious trap. Be prepared to have several floaters at one setting with bait overnight depending on your situation. I plan to use this in the barn where I already have something similar with a watery grave set-up. Five stars!!!!! ... show more

  • Missing parts for assembly
Style: 3pack
Got this today 2/3/24 and there were parts missing to assemble the triangle for one of the lids. The first picture is what it's supposed to look like and the second picture is with one side of the plastic missing from the packaging. This was a three lid package deal so only two are usable at this time. Returning for a refund ... show more

  • COULD work.
Style: 2pack
The rat I’m trying to catch won’t step on the yellow. I have it on camera. He just stays on the black rim. This is a silly design, the whole thing needs to be black. The idea that there needs to be a giant yellow cheese design is kinda silly. I spray painted mine all black. We’ll see how it goes or if it already learned that it’s a trap. ... show more

  • Haven't used it yet, but did put it together
Style: 2pack
The media could not be loaded. It's flimsy, but I expected that. It sturdys up a bit when you put it on the bucket.

  • Fancy bucket rat trap
This does not come with instructions, but it is still pretty easy to set up. I've got mine in the garage with some peanut butter, waiting to see if I can trap any critters, It looks like it should work as well as the ones I've seen people make in online videos, The trapdoor does close so should keep any jumpier pests locked in. And it looks like a big chuck on plastic cheese, which is entertaining to me! ... show more

  • Best mouse trap
This is one of the best mouse traps ever. Simple assembly. Put it on a 5 gallon bucket, attach the included ramp, bait it and put it where there is activity. You won't have to wait long. I have a few different styles of traps and this one is the best so far. Easily worth the money to keep the little critters in check. ... show more
