  • Starts working in MINUTES! Worth every penny, it WILL kill pretty much every flying insect and attracts them very well. Starts working in MINUTES! Worth every penny, it WILL kill pretty much every flying insect and attracts them very well.
Color: A.Indoor Bug Zapper
For two whole months now I've been dealing with a nonstop phorid fly (often confused with fruit flies but have black eyes, not red like fruit flies with curved bodies, don't waste your money on vinegar traps like I did because they don't work on these with the black eyes) infestation that seems to be coming from behind my apartments somewhere, possibly a dead dog or cat or animal feces. I was at my wit's end, I'm sitting at my computer trying to game or just take care of work and I couldn't go more than 10 or 20 minutes without having another one of these tiny flies walking on my monitor and then flying in my face trying to get into my eyes, mouth and nose as they're attracted to moisture because that's what they like to breed in so imagine having to worry about bugs trying to go into any hole in your body to lay eggs in you on a daily basis. This was extremely annoying and infuriating after several weeks of putting up with it. I tried rice vinegar which I had around the house both by itself and with dish soap or laundry detergent and that did nothing. Bought apple cider vinegar and not even one fly was caught after a whole day but I just found out these are actually phorid flies not fruit flies so that's probably why. They seemed to really like my mango juice I had in a cup so I tried putting some of that in a cup with a little soap for them to drown in but that proved very ineffective as well strangely enough. Then I finally had enough of it and forked out the $35 to get this baby here, the Liba Bug Zapper. Within a FEW MINUTES of me turning it on I heard a single very loud SMACK sound (like when you're frying something on the stove with oil and you're getting those loud smacking sounds of the oil cooking or imagine someone slapping their hands together to make a really loud sound one time, that's what the zaps sound like). I went over to my new bug zapper and something had been cooked alright, I saw one dead fly body lying on the collection tray. I was ecstatic! It really works! All the great reviews I had been reading for several days were right! No fake reviews here, that's for sure and now I know that for sure after using this AMAZING bug zapper. I've had this zapper going for just one day now and my phorid fly problem is solved! Now that's not to say I don't have any flies coming into my house anymore, they still come in regularly because really the only way to eradicate these things completely much like other pests is to eliminate the source, their habitat, where they're laying the eggs and reproducing. But in my case I'd just not rather go through all that trouble of going outside and investigating because I live in a pretty rough area and that wouldn't be a good idea snooping around in these parts, glad I'm moving very soon. Now the flies that do come around don't even bother with flying on my monitor or my TV screens like they used to. They just go straight to this bug zapper and die! When you see the product description saying the zapper is highly attractive to flying insects they mean it, this is a literal statement. They don't come after me OR my computer monitor anymore, they seem to LOVE the lights in the Liba Bug Zapper and prefer that now which is fine by me and one of the reasons why I love this product so much. It's very easy to setup, you just take it out of the bubble wrap, make sure to read the very short manual that just tells you about the warranty and safety information then you just place it where you want it, plug it in and let the insect cooking begin! Just make sure not to place it in any 'cramped' areas, put it somewhere it can just sit or hang by itself because this thing definitely packs a punch when things get zapped and you don't want your kids, your pets, yourself or anyone else getting shocked by it from touching the bars on it that have electricity running through them. I like how you have the two black rubber grips to hold onto if you need to move the product while it's on or if you just turned it off and want to avoid touching the bars at all costs (which I think you should do). And it also has comes with two extra bulbs as well, very generous of you LiBa. The power cord for it is also a generous length as well which is great in case your power outlet isn't as close as you would like it to be, if you're placing it on top of a counter or something and the outlet is near the ground like I am. One suggestion I would make to further improve the product is possibly some 'stands' or just something, anything to ensure there is no chance at all for the zapper to fall or topple over easily when it's sitting on something and you're not hanging it. I use a sleeping mat that I put on the ground and I have the outlet that goes to the zapper next to my feet and I have to be very, very careful that I don't get my feet tangled in the wire and have the zapper fall over and shock me or other things and possibly cause a fire if worst comes to worst. The zapper is pretty lightweight which is a good thing but it can easily fall over with not too much force being applied to the power cord which is a potential safety hazard. Or maybe some kind of mechanism within the product to make it automatically shut off as soon as it starts falling over or is in a bad angle and not standing straight up on it's feet. But just be aware everyone, the zaps are in fact very loud when these pests are killed so be prepared for that. This is good because it ensures the insect will die and has no chance for survival but I will tell you right now, if you live with other people they will hear it in other parts of the house. Had to explain what these loud popping sounds were coming from my bedroom haha But it's worth it if I can have the peace of mind knowing it's doing it's job and a great job at that and I don't have to deal with these flies any longer, this zapper takes care of them for me. And don't worry about having other light sources in the room that may be competing with the zapper, the zapper has everything covered, LiBa did such a great job on this product, the insects will go straight to the zapper and pretty much ignore the other light sources 99% of the time, the UV lights on this are very, very bright and attract them very well. All in all, this is an excellent product, it was worth every penny. Thank you LiBa for making such a great product for the world and bringing it to us here at Amazon for all of us to enjoy. You've relieved so much unnecessary stress from these bugs I had bothering me on a daily basis you have no idea. Now I am at peace once again.I had my doubts about this product, I was skeptical but not anymore, I was wrong. Also added a few pictures to show whats happened after only a day. And this is just having it in my bedroom, it would've caught tons more in the kitchen because it catches every single fly in the bedroom. Those pieces you see outside of the zapper are actually insect body parts I'm assuming due to some of their bodies exploding hahaha ... show more

  • LiBa Indoor Bug Zapper - Excellent Product
Color: A.Indoor Bug Zapper
I bought the LiBa Bug Zapper about 2 weeks ago and I've got to say that I'm extremely happy with my purchase. The product arrived quickly and in excellent condition. We've had a major issue with flies and mosquitoes getting into the house this summer. We've always had a lot of mosquitoes in Texas but this summer seems worse than usual and, apparently, I'm a mosquito magnet. I felt like I was getting "eaten" alive every night in the house. What's really strange is that we seemed to have had a mosquito infestation in one of our bathrooms this summer. Not sure why this occurred, but I'm guessing that a female mosquito might have laid her eggs in the shower drain. We haven't been using that shower for a month or so since we need to do some repair work, so we've just been using the shower in the other bathroom for now. I would have never believed this was possible, but I can't think of any other reason as to why our bathroom was swarming with baby mosquitoes. Should I mention that this kind of freaked me out? I wasn't sure if you could even get an indoor bug zapper, but I was determined to find something that would kill all of the mosquitoes in our house before they had a chance to bite me. Well, of course, there are quite a few indoor bug zappers available, so I started reading all of the reviews for them. I eventually selected the LiBa Bug Zapper for several reasons - lots of very good reviews from customers, product came with extra bulbs, product had a longer warranty than the other bug zappers I was considering, and I noticed some customers had stated that the company's customer service was excellent. That's all I needed to know. So, did this product solve my mosquito infestation in the bathroom since these were baby mosquitoes and really small? Absolutely!! I placed the bug zapper in the room for a couple of days and just left the door shut. LOL! There was a bunch of zapping going on that 1st night and I smiled each time I heard the zapping sound. I heard some zapping the 2nd night, but it was considerably less than that 1st night. I then proceeded to move the bug zapper to other rooms and let it clear out any mosquitoes and flies. I now have the zapper in one of our rooms that has a doggy door. It's on a table about 10 feet from the door and every once in a while you'll hear a zap. Love that sound! I'm guessing that the doggy door is the primary entry way for mosquitoes and flies. I remember reading a customer review that the zapping sound disturbed one of her dogs, so I was worried about that. We have a dog that has an anxious personality. What's interesting is that the zapping sound didn't bother her when I was using the bug zapper to clear the house of mosquitoes, but when I moved it to the room where we have a doggy door, the bug zapper went off several times when she was coming back into the house. Now our dog is a little cautious going thru her doggy door. I definitely understand that, so I'm working with her to ease her anxiety. I do wish that the power cord was longer but I also noticed that the cord on some competitors products was about the same length. It is a little inconvenient to have to use an extension cord but I can live with that. The zapping sound is kind of loud and it has spooked me a few times when I was near the unit, but, overall, that sound gives me a lot of satisfaction. Sorry this review is kind of long, but I'm very impressed with the product. Before I got this bug zapper, I would always wear jeans, a long sleeve shirt and socks to try and keep the mosquitoes from biting me. When I was on the sofa, I would cover as much of my body as I could with a light blanket since the mosquitoes seemed to be very good at finding any exposed skin. Boy, having to live like that is almost unbearable considering how hot it gets in Texas. As I write this review, I'm happily wearing shorts and a t-shirt and NOT being attacked by mosquitoes. Life is so good now! ... show more

  • Worth every penny!
Color: A.Indoor Bug Zapper
A week ago, I had visitors who kept coming in and out and let a few flies in. In Southern California I’ve rarely had any trouble with bugs..until now. I was gone all day on Saturday and was not prepared for what I was about to walk into. There had to have been at least 100 big, black house flies maybe more! There were only a few that morning, so not sure where they all came from. They were mostly in my kitchen, but another bunch were hanging out in my bathroom and the creepiest ones were all over my pillows and bed. It was disgusting! Of course, I didn’t have a fly swatter, so I improvised and got pretty good at snapping a kitchen towel at them. However, I also broke my favorite mug and a pretty vase and knocked a couple pictures off the wall. I put out a bowl of honey and a bowl of vinegar, but they didn’t come near them. I caught ZERO flies with honey! I spent two hours trying to make a dent in them-it was like a plague or something! In desperation I googled how to get rid of flies in my house and this was the first and best zapper that came up. I ordered it at 1:30 a.m. and it said I’d receive it between 7 -11 a.m. Sunday morning (just a few hours away)-amazing! Next morning there seemed to be even more. I did discover that if I opened my wooden, kitchen door, that they loved to cling to and rest on the screen door. I took advantage of this and would periodically fling the door open and they would all fly away. Within minutes, more would cover the screen again. I actually got rid of a large number of them, that way. When I still had not received it by 11:000 a.m., I checked my email, only to discover the card they’d automatically used had long been expired, so it had not been sent. I corrected that, but of course now I wouldn’t get it until 6 pm the following day. I left to get some food (no way was I cooking in that!) and Lo and behold, there sat the bug zapper on my doorstep! Felt like a miracle! All I had to do was take it out of the box and attach the chain (be careful as the metal clip fell off when I was opening the bag, and you’ll need that to hang it up). They recommend placing it up high, so I hung it off the cabinet door knob. I was a little scared I might get zapped myself, but so far, so good. I can’t believe how quick it’s worked!! Within minutes I about jumped out of my skin, when the first fly made contact! It sounded like little Black Katz fire crackers. The rest of the day and evening you could hear the steady snap, crackle, POP * * * I turned it off during the night, as I wanted it to cool down before touching it, as some reviews talk about getting a shock if it wasn’t fully cooled down. In the morning I slid the little tray out and just emptied it into the trash and wiped it down. You’ll also find that some of them will somehow wind up underneath the tray. Still others will pop right out of the device, so be prepared to find many in the surrounding area. They definitely are attracted to the light. The pings are strangely satisfying. I’ve lost count of how many, but in 1 and a half days, I went from the stuff of nightmares, to zero flies! I know many reviews said it quits working right away, so I hope they’re wrong. But just this one time use would be totally worth every penny! Tomorrow I’m lending it to my next door neighbor, as she’s had a similar swarm in her apartment. Thanks for making a great product! ... show more

  • A godsend--got rid of every last fly in our garage!
Color: A.Indoor Bug Zapper
I bought this in a second-to-last-resort attempt to get rid of a terrible fly infestation in our garage. I trusted the reviews that said it worked great but the zaps were loud. TL;DR: those reviews were 100% spot on. The zaps are sometimes soft, other times startling, but the end result was far above my expectations. I first tested it in the dining room, as there were a few flies looping around the kitchen and living room which kept returning to the dining room to rest. I figured it would take time for the thing to work, but no sir--the effect was immediate and startling. Not ten seconds after I turned the device on, the first zap happened, scaring the bejeezus out of me! It is a sharp electrical pop with flying sparks, and it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand! But sure enough, the fly dropped right into the collection tray, followed by his friends within the next few minutes. The blue light is bright and intense, so I had to face it in a way that it wouldn't be visible while sitting in the living room or during food prep. Also had to keep it far away from anything flammable, as those electrical sparks are no joke! The device can stand up on its own without support, which is how we use it, but it also came with a chain for hanging. A brush is included, but I haven't needed it (yet), as the carcasses dump easily out of the collection tray. The tray itself is easy to remove, dump, and replace without worrying about getting shocked, but fair warning: the tray is open on either side, so move carefully while holding it and avoid breezes and fans, or you'll have an unsightly mess on your hands when all those carcasses blow right out of the tray all over you and the floor! Since the dining room test worked out, I figured it was time for the real deal, so into the garage it went. I plugged it into a heavy duty extension cord and set it upright on a table in the center of the garage. The infestation was bad enough that the moment I took one step away from the device, the first pop happened. By the time I got back in the house, 3 pops left me feeling creeped out and I slammed the door behind me. I stood in the hallway, listening through the door, and it sounded like popcorn in the microwave. Disgusting, but it seemed effective! I left the device on and "popcorn" cooked all night long. By the next day, the ominous, swarm-like buzz in the garage died down to little more than an irritating, occasional buzz. The collection tray had filled up overnight and there was a tinge of fried insect permeating the garage. I dumped the tray, and by the evening, that tinge had cleared up, so be sure to keep the tray clean to avoid that odor. The popcorn continued less frequently through the next night, and by the second day, there was dead silence in the garage. I couldn't believe my ears. Blessed silence! The collection tray had filled up again, and a handful of flies were gathered around the device--I'm guessing the force of the shock repelled some of them. Some of the flies were still twitching, but they were done for. Over the next few days, a handful of flies wound up as victims in the tray, but I haven't heard any buzzing or popping at all. I am naturally skeptical about any Amazon product whose brand name has CAPITAL LETTERS, but I can honestly say that if you have a fly infestation, this will be the best $40 you have ever spent! ... show more

  • Like Thor the God of Thunder wielding his power to protect your household
Color: A.Indoor Bug Zapper
I like the slim width which allows for placement options I didn't have with another zapper. Much better design for indoor use compared to many others. It has a clean and sophisticated look, doesn't look out of place in an indoor environment. According to my Kill-A-Watt, power consumption ranges between 17.5 -18 watts. Not a power hog. The power switch is a very nice touch. Not all zappers have one. This makes powering it up and down quick and convenient. It ships with two replacement bulbs. Good of the supplier to do this. On the top of the housing there are two pull-outs for those that want to hang it. These can also be used to tether it to something to keep it from being knocked over. I'd recommend doing this or at least being very careful about placement. True of everything with a bulb but worth pointing out. The safety screens are well designed. No worries about pets and children being zapped. Very effective for the no-see-ums that sometimes get into my house. They're nearly impossible to see under normal circumstances but are attracted to the zapper and quickly meet their maker. Easy to clean. Note that the catch tray had a white zip tie securing it to the zapper. This is for shipping purposes only. It has to be removed to remove the tray. It can be easy to miss when unpacking it. The only reason I give this 4 instead of 5 stars is that it's pretty loud compared to an outdoor zapper I use and my previous indoor zapper. Startling. It doesn't bother me at this point but if you have a dog or cat, there might be a period of adjustment. This is true of all indoor zappers but a more so with this one. It's also sort of satisfying. Like Thor the God of Thunder wielding his power to protect your household. Happy customer. I'd definitely buy another if needed. ... show more

  • It works! Boy does it work!
Color: A.Indoor Bug Zapper
Omgosh where to start? First-- just BUY it! I own and operate a doggy DayCamp and Kennel-free Boarding business out of my home...have for the past 23 years. Normally, flies are just a minor pest and inconvenience. THIS year??? Holy moly, where did they all come from and how do I rid our home of all these flies? THREE separate varieties and I cannot believe how many I was killing every single day. I used window straps-- they FILLED up in 36 hours...I mean they got *packed!!! I used bait-type and they grossly became filled up in several days... ...the flies were causing me great stress to the point I could not sleep at night...one variety crawled on the floor or landed in the ceiling -- they were not interested at all in the petfood dishes, nor were they interested in the litter boxes from the stray kitties...they drove me nuts...I'd lay in bed at night and look up to see 30 or so on the ceiling and it creeped me out and kept me from sleeping. Another variety was actively interested in the food dishes, so they were picked up -- no free feed for the kittens... Another variety just flew around in circles in a group, like a squadron. We have ZERO idea how come we were hit with flies, there were no maggots, there were no eggs laid...just a ton of flies. After a week of killing flies, I was at my wits end and stressed every day. I did not want to use any type of poison (sprays and the like), because of my animal Guests...we had never seen anything like it in all our years at this residence--thirty years next May. Aaannnnd, our 3 neighbors were being inundated, also!!! I felt like Lord of the Flies, in a very, very bad way. Do-do-do-DOOOOO! 🎺 📯 🎺 Enter this lovely indoor ZAPPER from Liba to the rescue! The downside was I had to wait 10 days for delivery, all the while counting down the days as I killed, killed, killed flies! This unit was very well packed and unboxing was quick. The unit came with 2 replacement bulbs - the competition did not and prior to purchasing this unit, I tried looking up replacement bulbs for the competition to see how easy they were to find, and I could not find any!!! So, the fact this unit came with 2 replacement bulbs was a major deciding factor in choosing this unit. So, after unboxing, basically, all you need to do is take it out of the box, ensure the plastic ziptye wasn't laying on the bottom bulb, attach the chain (as I wanted to hang it, but it is also free-standing if you have a safe space curious critters cannot touch), hang it up, plug it in and flip the switch to "on". My first ZAP (which caused me to jump with a start, because it *is* somewhat loud) occurred in less than 30 seconds -- no joke -- and the zapping continued fairly non-stop for the rest of the evening and into the overnight hours!!! I awoke to dramatically less flies🙏🏻 and by day two, the flies were reduced to just a few that I was able to dispatch with my trusty fly swatter. This little zapper saved my sanity. No joke, I was just about over the edge -- all because of flies. I told my neighbors how well this unit works and two of my 3 neighbors have purchased this unit, and THEY are also happy! The 3rd neighbor had a zapper already, but thought it was for mosquitoes only, so set hers up and ta-da! Zap, zap, zap and dead flies!! Thank you Liba for making such an amazing indoor flying insect killer -- it works so well, and you saved my sanity I highly recommend this product and I would definitely purchase this again! Wait, you're still reading??? Just go buy it😋💗☮ ... show more

  • Absolutely Essential for a Bug-Free Home! Kills the Tiny Pests AND the Bigger Ones! Absolutely Essential for a Bug-Free Home! Kills the Tiny Pests AND the Bigger Ones!
Color: A.Indoor Bug Zapper
If you're dealing with those tiny, annoying flying insects that seem to materialize out of nowhere, or even common house flies, you need this LiBa Electric Bug Zapper. I am genuinely impressed with this product—it has completely cleared my home of small, persistent pests and has even proven surprisingly effective against larger insects! Immediate Results & The Satisfying Sound: I was constantly frustrated by smaller bugs—not quite fruit flies, but those little dark gnats or other tiny flyers that would buzz around the house. I had tried all the usual tricks, but nothing worked consistently. The moment I plugged this zapper in, the results were immediate and dramatic. I started hearing those powerful, satisfying ZAP sounds right away. Honestly, the noise is loud, but it is incredibly gratifying—it gives you instant confirmation that the machine is working and a pest has been neutralized. Within just a few days, the presence of those small flying nuisances was completely eliminated. My house is now a fly-free zone, and it's a huge relief! Unexpectedly Effective Power: What really surprised me was its power against bigger insects. It does an excellent job with house flies, attracting them away from windows and food and taking them out with a powerful jolt. On one memorable occasion, it even zapped a praying mantis that somehow found its way inside. This machine truly does not discriminate when it comes to flying pests. Easy to Clean: The removable, washable tray is a brilliant feature. Cleanup is fast, easy, and hygienic. I just slide it out, dump the contents, and slide it back in. Ready to Go: Setup took seconds—just take it out, plug it in, and the powerful UV lights get right to work attracting bugs. The inclusion of two extra replacement bulbs is a very generous touch, ensuring this zapper will last a long time, which is about 3-5 months for me with it constantly on. ... show more
