Very nice computer desk!
Color: Grey Oak Size: 60 inches
I received this computer desk yesterday and put it together last night. Once I figured out the right and left sides and how it connected to the back, actually building it was a piece of cake. The desk is really nice and very sturdy. My former desk was too small. This one has the additional room that I need to be comfortable working at home. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it to others! ... show more

Great Look, Great Feel, Great Value
Color: Grey Oak Size: 60 inches
I have purchased 4 pieces of furniture from Bon Augure and everyone of them are sturdy as a rock, They look good, they are easy to assemble and the instructions are easy to follow and very clear! No guessing what goes where or if something is upside down, right side up. I am sure most who buy this have experienced what I am talking about from a large manufacturer of furniture and "stuff". But I won't mention the name or talk about Swedish meatballs here. When one is on a tight budget and wants an affordable good looking home office with matching furniture, then look no further than Bon Augure. I am hoping they make a printer stand soon with file drawers. That would complete the picture perfect office for me. I have a vision in my head what that would look like. Unfortunately for me I don't work there! LOL. I give this 5 stars all the way around!!!! ... show more

Surprisingly Solid
Color: Grey Oak Size: 60 inches
I spent a lot of time looking at desks and reviews, hoping to find something that wasn't too expensive, wasn't too difficult to assemble, and -- most of all -- was actually sturdy, and I'm so glad that I chose this desk. The top looked solid in the photos, and I'm happy to report that it actually IS. It's thick and really seems like it can handle a lot. The whole desk is really sturdy, in fact -- it doesn't wobble at all, unlike my old desk. Best of all, it was easy to assemble solo. Sure, having a second person would have made it even easier, but I was able to do it by myself in about 20 minutes or so. The instructions were absolutely clear, and the screws were packaged beautifully -- each length separated into its own little pouch, instead of just thrown together into a bag for you to try to sort out yourself. It included an entire extra set of screws and even a second allen wrench, just in case you lost or were missing some. I didn't have to use any of the extras because I wasn't missing any pieces, but it's nice to have them just in case I need them someday. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and haven't had any problems whatsoever. The little trapdoor for routing cables is ingenious, and made it easy for me to make things look clean by just feeding all my cables into it and then adding a couple of cable channels on the underside of the desk to route them further. Honestly, the only complaint I have is very minor: the design of the desk makes it impossible to use anything that clips onto the side or back of the desktop, such as a monitor arm or headphone rack. That's it, though: if you can live without those things, this desk is perfect. ... show more

Decent for price but disappointed in hollow top
Color: Vintage Oak Size: 60 inches
The desk is the right size and height for us and the assembly was pretty easy. Seems sturdy so far with leg design feeling very stable on carpeted floor. My only major complaint is that at ~$200 price point the top I'd expect a solid particle board material with veneers. Not luxury but at least a solid material. Instead the desk top is literally a hollow rectangular box that weighs maybe 10-15 lb. So if you're expecting IKEA-like entry level quality you will be disappointed. Thinking we will eventually replace with solid tip as the frame is sturdy enough to support extra weight. ... show more

Sturdy, Minimalist Prefab Desk
Color: Vintage Oak Size: 60 inches
Review Image by Patrick W. Patrick W.
Very impressed with this desk from Bon Augure. It is a very simplistic, slab-of-wood, modern style computer/work desk. If you don't mind the fact it does not have any drawers or do not need to hook up monitor arms or anything too advanced, this should serve you very well. I really liked the look and after building my new PC, I treated myself to a new desk with more room on top and clearance underneath. Despite being "simple", it is very much a sturdy desk and I have no complaints in this department. Props to Bon Augure for the packaging, too! Despite the outer box being slightly damaged, this desk inside was very, very well packaged and not a single blemish from shipping. Assembly was very intuitive and the instructions were very clear and idiot-proof, which is always a plus. It took me one quarter of NBA basketball (playing in the background) to put this thing together. A driver with a #4 hex bit will come in handy and speed things up significantly on most of the joints versus the included tool. The metal mesh in the back goes about halfway down and is useful in cable management and keeping things out of your way/off the ground. The only drawbacks I can really say is that it is very "generic" and basically a knock-off of the trend of turning an old door into a desk thing. But if you want something already designed and prefabricated for you, this is a fine option. The lack of any drawers was a bit of a bummer, but it gives you the option to either add on one later (as I did) or just go without. As I said, very minimalist here. Maybe Bon Augure should look into selling add-ons or options like drawers, different color metals, wood, etc. to give people more unique options. All in all though, this is a very nice desk for my situation and would recommend it to anyone else looking for a simple, modern looking computer desk. ... show more
