  • Longest possible range blue tooth in a compact package and it will work while wearing hearing aids.
I’ve been using Motorola BlueTooth headsets for many years. I favor the long range (330 feet, but in practice when used with a shorter range phone (33 feet) operating range is closer to 100 feet). This one still works well, but I’ve been disappointed with this, the latest design iteration. It has shorter talk time, the single button volume control is difficult to use, the ear hooks don’t last nearly a long as the older versions and are not as comfortable. The single tap on the surface will answer or hang up a phone call. I’d prefer an actual micro switch so that I can adjust it in my ear without accidentally hanging up on someone. Even with these disadvantages, two features make it a must have for me: 330 feet range and since I wear hearing aids, the ear hook mades it one of the few that I work for me. ... show more

  • No MFB
There is no MFB. You can touch the area where an MFB should be but there is no tactile feedback to tell you if anything actually happened so maybe, maybe not. I have missed countless calls because of this. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

  • Motorola HK385 In ear wireless
The last bluetooth I ordered had such a cheap plastic over the ear hook, I ordered another one separately which was just as cheap. Now I bought this one, the ad showed no over the ear hook so I thought, great maybe these are built to fit in ear without a hook. & it came with no over the ear hook. But instructions say to put the over the ear hook on but one didn't come with it! Tried to message seller, but all it gave was an 800 # for Motorola which I called & it said go to website call the number on there. ... show more

  • So far so good... Late delivery though.
First off, delivery was late and I mean - really late. I was supposed to receive item on Sept 17 after order was placed on Sept 15. I did not receive this product until Sept 21. Amazon never called me to inform me that my package was mishandled and the delivery person even lied and said that the place for delivery was closed on Sept 20 - funny how the US Post Office was definitely open until 5pm. So I have no clue as to why my package was mishandled for 4 days by Amazon? Unboxed the product and affixed the appropriate earpiece to the headset. I do not like the fact that the earpiece and hook are clear plastic. I am used to the earpiece and hook being black in color. Hopefully they do not turn that nasty yellowish color from being out in the sun. I then charged up the headset to 100% with my Thunderbolt laptop connection cable. Instructions were easy to pair with my Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (Android 12) phone. I heard the "power on" notification, then the "pairing" notification and lastly the "connected" notification. The operation was iffy. Whenever I received a call, the headset did not announce the Caller ID name but kept announcing, "Incoming Call" until I answered. It also did not sound my specific ringtones for people in my contacts list. The ringtone sound came from the actual phone and not the headset. So that feature was a bust. The Multi-Function Button (MFB) was a bit touchy. I had to lightly touch the MFB to get the headset to answer the call. If I touched the MFB too hard or too long for an incoming call, the headset would answer and hang up the call immediately. This product is not for big heavy hands. In order to make a hands-free call (don't use the actual phone) - I had to ensure that Google Assistant is set to work with the phone locked and I had to hold the headset MFB for almost 3 seconds. The headset instructions do not tell you how to make a call using the headset. As well, if you have your headset paired to your device with the "Media Audio" on (can hear music through the headset) it takes a few tries of holding the MFB to get the headset to activate for making a call, otherwise you will hear music and have to go through the process of shutting off your music app and attempting to make the call again. Very inconvenient. Last but not least - The Volume Control button on the headset is pretty much useless and or cumbersome if you don't have very small hands. It took forever to adjust the volume and no matter if you pressed the volume button in the middle or on the ends, the volume still would not adjust. I ended up using the volume control on my actual phone to adjust. In my opinion, the volume control is a wasted feature. Hopefully this product will last and live up to the rave description and reviews. My last headset lasted almost 5 years. No pressure Motorola! ... show more

  • Great sound, great fit, low battery life.
Great fit and sound. Battery life is lower than expected. Last about 4-5 hrs of use. Recharge takes about and hour on turbo charger. Glad for the tight fit since I use it for all day.

  • An replacement to Plantronics headsets.
Whoever knows Plantronics headsets, they know that are excellent for their sound quality, lightweight and appearance. One favorite feature is the sliding power button. Nowadays Plantronics has stopped making headsets and only older models might be available. I have been searching for a replacement, I ordered a few from different manufactures but I returned all of them due to the poor sound quality. Finally I found an excellent replacement that so far has exceeded my expectations and is ta totally underrated product that is not advertised well. Motorola has a huge experience in transistors and that was the main reason I wanted to give it a try. It is a beautiful product, with a USB-C port, a sliding power button, lightweight and superior sound quality for both sides. There is hardly anything to more to ask for. The only cons I would mention is the touch main button that needs some time to get used to it, instead of a physical button. Of course the touch sensitive button has its advantages, so it is a matter of preference. ... show more

  • Whaddia gonna do?
Had a Motorola H730 and a dog ate it. Motorola no longer, makes that model or anything similar nor does anyone else., this model is not as good for me. The ear hook is some kind of cluster, it is an earbud which has to be inserted into the ear, the volume is lower than the old one, and it has a tiny on off switch. That being said I use it because I dislike holding a phone to my ear. It just always irks me when a manufacturer replaces a good design with an inferior design. UPDATE. : Can't stand this device. The only positive is that it connects with my phone. It's not super comfortable , switch type and positions suck, but the worst thing is, is that the "disconnect call" button is just to touch the side of the device. I have cut myself off by touching the device hole trying to adjust the position so I could actually hear something, and one time I cut off a call, when my thumb brushed it,while scratching my head. Just now threw it in the compactor and ordered a different brand. Hope it isn't as poorly designed. ... show more
