I bought 5 of these for our living room home theater. We have 5 windows - three that face due west and two that face north with a two story neighbor's house about twenty feet away. I mounted the solar panels on one of the upper sash muntins on the inside. Each panel has the window glass, the storm window glass and the screen of the storm window between the panel and the outside. They perform flawlessly - even on the north side! This time of year, the only sunlight they see is reflected from the neighbor's house. We just passed the winter solstice and I waited until now to review this product as I thought the north facing ones would need some supplemental USB power. Even with the sun way to the south, the batteries stay charged from the solar panels alone. We use them everyday to watch shows on the big screen. Down at night and up the next morning. They have exceeded my highest expectaions.

This blinds is make of good quality. I like its color. Its installation is easy, just following the simple steps in the instructions. I spent couple of minutes to have it installed. It comes with a battery that powers the blinds, which makes it easy to open and close the blinds. It functions good. The solor panel can have the battery charged. This is convenient. Worth it.

The design is good it works with the smart house which is a real nice creature comfort. It does a good job of blocking the light on the edges and operates relatively quickly and essentially silent. It is all the things you would want in self-powered blind. But it definitely comes at a pretty high cost. At the time of writing this there are 170 plus dollars with a $70 off coupon. A nice discount but even at $100 it's still notably more expensive than some others on the market that function just as well. But it does get the job done so I do recommend it if it's the right fit for you you won't be disappointed and it's form or function

VERY HAPPY with these. We bought two for behind the couch and couldn't be happier. Age pushed us to get these because of the remote action and we're happy with how they work. No more climbing on the couch to open the blinds so the cat and dog (and the great grandkids when they visit) can see outside. Everybody is happy now!

Remote came with shade doesn't respond. I also purchased bridge to connect Tuya app, but doesn't connect. My shade can't move and just stay. Only lasted a little over 1 year. I don't recommend this brand.

Needed this so bad to keep the sunlight out during the summer here in Vegas, it helps to keep the heat out and they are so so easy to install. They also look very nice and good material
