I have multiple motorcycle helmets and for years I have been storing them in the closet. The always get banged around. I saw this and thought this will solve all my problems. They are quick and easy to put up and they hold my helmet and gloves with out issue. I can even hang my heavy jackets on them with no issue. Just make sure you hit the stud when putting them in. I will prep this with the statement that I know my way around sheetrock and how to repair it. Between my wife and myself, we have 6 helmets. I wanted an inexpensive helmet holder that would work for the helmets and light jackets or vests. The holders are just fine, I did apply a non-slip material to the top of the ball to keep the helmets in place. Just looking at the wall anchors, I suspect that they would not be able to hold without screwing the screws into a stud. I gave them a try and sure enough right after placing the helmet and jacket on the holder I watched as the top anchor slowly started to pull out of the sheetrock. I replaced the top anchor with a 25 lb holding strength anchor, and now I have no worries about the holder pulling lose and falling to the floor. ... show more

Ok. So.. the hardware is sub par. I didnt feel it was adequate. So i used lag bolts for drywall with the butterfly in the back. I could almost hang from these now. Super secure. Now for the hangers themselves. They are great. Super stylish and perfect for any helmet. I like that they have hangers for jackets or hats. These are especially useful if you live in an RV as myself. If you are drilling into solid wood you do not need the anchors. The design is perfect, don’t forget to put on the screw caps at the end. Would 1000% recommend this product to other bike enthusiasts. 😎🤙🏽
