We’re a motorcycle family and helmets are laying all over the house. The guys don’t care but I can’t stand it. I bought these and installed in our wide hallway. I would recommend installing in a standard hallway because helmets are bulky and stick out too much. The stem slides to the side so I can have the helmets flush to the wall. Installation was easy. I will prep this with the statement that I know my way around sheetrock and how to repair it. Between my wife and myself, we have 6 helmets. I wanted an inexpensive helmet holder that would work for the helmets and light jackets or vests. The holders are just fine, I did apply a non-slip material to the top of the ball to keep the helmets in place. Just looking at the wall anchors, I suspect that they would not be able to hold without screwing the screws into a stud. I gave them a try and sure enough right after placing the helmet and jacket on the holder I watched as the top anchor slowly started to pull out of the sheetrock. I replaced the top anchor with a 25 lb holding strength anchor, and now I have no worries about the holder pulling lose and falling to the floor. ... show more

I bought 9 of these total for a man cave kick off display. Zero issues. Well made Affordable. Couldn’t be happier They hold Star Wars helmets perfectly and allow for adjustment easily. Couldn’t ask for a more cost effective and adjustable solution for o fine tune your display. I plan on getting three more eventually. Absolutly awesome for cosplay helmets. I need to adjust the lights more and dial in the helmets a tad more and it’ll look better. Easily done. Stop and just buy this. You are done ... show more
