I have gotten some questions on what this Motopower MP69040 does and doesn't do. I am no expert on code readers so I posted the last page of my manual that has their web address for manuals. I also tried to post a pic of the faq and specification page. I wish I could help more but hopefully you can go to the manual on their website and see what it does and does not read. Besides that, and me being a non-expert, I found the cost reasonable, it plugged right in and connected to my Hyundai easily and I got the basics of it pretty quickly, even as a novice. The manual is good and easy to read. My car didn't throw any codes but the voltage monitor on it did help me determine my battery was not holding a charge and was completely dead. Overall, I am happy with this and I think it was worth it. Hopefully that info will help a little! ... show more

Pretty easy to use and nice to have in the shop. I don't need to go to the auto parts store anymore and have them argue with me about whether or not I have a code since my check engine light isn't on. I can test myself, clear codes and check other things like O2, evap etc. Love it and the price was right. Im giving this a 3. For as far as i know it works just fine. That being said, I didn’t find ANY benefit of purchasing this over just going to Any auto store and using their scanner. If you want to specifically erase factory codes (you do your own general maintenance and whatnot) it might for your make and model if it’s supported. But if thats what you want i would buy something that specifically supports your make and model. This one seems to support some but definitely not all as far as the deeper codes. ... show more
