    • Looks great, the light stays in in auto mode. Motion sensor is unreliable!
The dawn to dusk feature works well. The motion sensor is very unreliable. It works sporadically. We returned it and got replacement that was even worse. Its stays on at night in the "auto" mode.The sensor is the problem. Such a shame because it looks great and the features it offers are fantastic if they actually worked. *Update: The seller said they will be issuing us a refund after they saw this review. They have been very responsive. They even sent me a THIRD light for free. I connected it and to my disappointment, the "auto" function does NOT work. The light goes on and stays on! It is supposed to go off after one minute. The dawn/dusk feature does work however. If you don't care about the motion auto function working, then this light might be OK for you. ... show more

Slick style, easy to install and great price. The motion sensor below the light is easily trigger by our pups so they have light when going out the doggy door at night. It works perfectly. And it is a gorgeous light.

    • Great besides for one thing
The light itself is beautiful and has lots of features to customize the experience. The one annoying thing is that the hole to mount the light to the mounting plate doesn't align when the mounting plate is mounted to the wall. The hole on the mounting plate is too close to the wall and is mis-aligned to the hole on the light when the mounting plate is installed. This ended up causing the install to take a lot longer while I stood on a ladder in a precarious position. I ended up needing to unscrew and loosen the screws for the mounting plate and used a knife to prop the mounting plate away from the wall so that it would line up (barely) with the hole on the light. ... show more

    • Magnetize your screwdrive
This is a great product; I ordered two more. I especially like the controls on the bottom of the lantern which give you a wide variety of options and eliminates guessing which button determines the setting. I did have a problem inserting the two screws that hold the lantern to the plate. They are very small and easy to drop, so I ordered a magnet to magnetize my screwdriver for my next installations. PS. The screws don't magnetize, probably aluminum. Still tricky to install them. Also if you are doing the installation solo, as I am, put a line on a hook in the rafters under the eaves and attached it to the lantern so it hangs in place while you splice the wires. There are two larger screws with the package that you can use in lieu of the small screws that make the installation easier. I think they were intended to screw the facing plate to the junction box but I used the existing screws instead. If you can't use the large screws for that purpose, I would suggest taking the facing plate to the hardware store (to make sure you have the proper fit) and find similar screws of at least 3/4" length. ... show more

    • Lights Up Nicely
Very attractive light and lights up nicely. Although I had to play with it for a few nights to completely figure it out, I think I got it. The only negative I would say is the user's guide doesn't have a customer service number if you have any questions. There is no way to contact them.
