I compared this pump side by side with the Viair 400p. This one is rated at 7cfm and took just over 6 minutes to fill up the same tire for which the Viair, which is rated only at 2cfm, took just over 4 minutes. Assuming Viair doesn't spec their pumps on the low side, this one is actually closer to 1.3cfm than 7cfm. Other than that, it works fine and is of decent quality. ... show more

The tire inflator comes with a usb charging cord, 3 meter long cigarette lighter charging cord, built in type -C charging input port, built in air nozzle storage that comes with 3 types of air nozzles, an air needle, safety hammer, and a high pressure air inflation tube. All fits neatly into a storage case that has a handle. Instructions say to fully charge upon first use. It was already at 3 bars (full charge) but as 3 bars can be 65%-100% I decided to charge it for a bit. The instructions stated that it is very loud and produces more than 75dB noise. Also that the air tube connected to the pump needs 2 minutes to cool down so after use it is best to leave it for a few minutes before packaging it up. To use on a vehicle screw on the air hose and connect it to tire inflation port. Turn on the machine and then you can set the desired tire pressure. You would select one of the 4 modes - car, bicycle, motorcycle or ball. As you hook the nose onto each tire it will tell you the pressure. if a tire needs air you manually press the on button to inflate the tire and then it will automatically stop. The machine will automatically turn off if no use in 3 minutes. I tested it out and used my pencil tire gauge to confirm accuracy. It took one minute to inflate a tire 3 psi. All four tires were inflated in under 5 minutes. The unit was hot after the inflation of all tires were completed, but after 3 minutes it turned off automatically and was only slightly warm to the touch. The air inflation nozzle connected to the unit was still warm. After completion it still had 3 full bars of power. There are 3 air display modes - psi, Kpa, kg/cm. The light is a wide area cool blue light so although it will provide illumination it is not a strong white light. There are three light modes - white light, red flash slow, red flash fast mode. The nozzle attachments can be used for flotation devices, sports balls, and road and mountain bicycles. There is a warning that the device has to be stored in a temperature of -10° to 45°C or 14°F to 113°F. Therefore if you live in a state that has summers hotter than that or winters below that temperature leaving it in the car could damage the battery. I highly recommend this device. ... show more

Please see attached photos on the reviewed product. The product I received was a small tire inflator with a cost of under $100 and not what is shown in the product description. For some reason the link to the product I received shows a much larger and different inflator. Now, I've had this tire inflator for over a month and my overall impression is that it is pretty good if not great. The inflator works pretty well and is easy to use, the display is easily readable. You can set the desired tire pressure and the inflator will automatically stop when it reaches that point. The rectangular shape and size makes it easy to hold or even just place on the ground while it is working. It comes with a very nice case that holds the inflator on one side and the air hose, charger and cigarette lighter adapter on the other side. Some things I don't like as much. One, the hose is not ideal in my opinion as it requires you to screw it on both sides. It's fine for the connector that attaches to the inflator but a bit cumbersome for the one that attaches to the tire's valve stem. It takes longer plus you do lose a bit of air pressure when unscrewing from the valve stem. The hose could also be a tad longer to allow the inflator to lay on the ground flat, but not a big deal. The tire inflator is a bit slow while running on battery power and to recharge it to full when empty takes a few hours. With a full battery it has enough power to inflate several tires if they are just low but on the plus side it comes with a cigarette plug adapter as a backup and while running on that power source it is significantly faster than just on battery power. On battery power alone I am able to bring up the pressure on all the tires for two cars, which includes at least three that lose air and get down into mid 20's regularly. Overall, I really like this tool and it has a lot of nice features. The size and the hard case make it easily stowable in a car and doesn't take much space at all. This would make for a good addition to a car's emergency pack. It works well and seems to be dependable and easy to use. Recommended. ... show more

    • Good Value, Poor Instrucions And A Few Minor Issues

This compressor is clearly designed to compete with the Viair RV air compressors, and even looks like the Viair, although the Viair costs considerably more. This compressor has a lot going for it, including digital display and controls, automatic shutoff when the desired air pressure is achieved, high volume air pumping, and a long hose making it simple to reach all 4 tires. There are some problems, however. First, the digital display is not limited to PSI, but also includes bar and I don't know what else. Keeping it limited to a PSI display proved frustrating, as the display kept switching to other modes of measurement. Also, at first I could not get it to stay on, but it would shut down after running for about 3 seconds. After I re-read the instruction sheet (more on that below) I noted that the instructions suggest that the car's engine be kept running while the compressor is in operation. After I started the engine and kept it running, the compressor worked fine. The instruction sheet was minimal and not very helpful, and referred to the 4 buttons adjacent to the digital display, but those buttons are so poorly marked that it is difficult to tell which button was which. This is a nice compressor and I will be putting it to good use, but it could so simply have been made better and more useful. Despite these flaws, this compressor is a good value. ... show more
