  • Perfect for heads and beards!
I’m sick of having dandruff from my itchy beard. After searching for solutions I saw that someone suggested a scalp massager to help lift up dead skin and wash it away. I was skeptical, but excited to try it. My thoughts: Pros: - works awesome. No more itchy dry skin under my beard after a few days - it’s a firm brush and almost sharp so it leaves this nice massaging feeling while helping pull up dead skin - has also made my scalp feel a lot smoother and better Cons: - bigger then I thought it would be - tried using it 2x a day and it was too much for my skin and left my skin reddish and sensitive. 1x seems to be my sweet spot! This scalp massager is amazing! Even my wife loves it. If you have issues with dry skin, then give this a try! ... show more

  • works well!
I love scalp massagers but eventually find myself dropping them in the shower and breaking off the handle and needing to move on to another one. This came up for me at the perfect time as I had just broken my last one, so I was excited to get this. It doesn't get caught on my hair and provides the perfect amount of scrub without being too harsh for my scalp. It is easy to use, comfortable to hold, and effective. The price may be a bit higher than some others, but I do really like the color and I have found that some of the cheaper ones are either a bit too soft or too stiff to comfortably use. Would definitely recommend this one! ... show more

  • Easy to use
I had never used a scalp massager before so this was a new experience for me. It was a little odd at first but the handle on this brush made it very easy to grip and maneuver. The silicone spikes can feel a little harsh if you push too hard so I learned to use light pressure. I have extremely curly hair so I thought this would add to my tangle factor, it did not! It didn't add any extra frizz or dandruff kicked up either. It was easy to help scrub in my shampoo and conditioner and rinse off and let dry. It was a nice experience but I don't see anything particularly special about this brand's scalp massager and feel there are cheaper options out there. ... show more

  • Just Right Massage Brush
A massage brush is one of those things no one actually needs but now that I have one it's a luxury I don't want to give up. This is my second, with the first of a different brand. I like the size of the Morroccan Oil brush for combing across my scalp during a shower, either with or without shampoo. The bristles are just firm enough to massage and gently exfoliate effectively. I like that the bristles are made of silicone, which isn't likely to discolor or deteriorate, and that the handle is a firm plastic, with everything the same Morroccon Oil signature teal, and easily washable. (My original scalp brush works similarly but has a wooden handle that after several months is beginning to show icky black spots). It fits perfectly in my shower caddy. ... show more

  • It's a pretty color and using it is nice, but it's also really overpriced.
The pretty color is true to the photos. The box says the body is made of recycled plastic and plant material. It has the tiny dark specks in it, and it looks like wheat straw plastic. I wash my hair without using shampoo or other products. I as they call it ‘scritch’ my scalp with the tips of my fingers under running water and thought that switching to one of these might be nice. The silicone bristles are just right in size, spacing and rigidness, and it fits securely and comfortably in my hand. If one is looking to impress anyone by the brand name appearing on the product, think again. I had to really look to find it, as it is only molded in tiny print on the top of the handle. I’m glad I ordered this product, but trying to ‘impress’ is really the only reason I can think of by which someone might feel that the price of $18.00 is warranted, as it appears to be with the exception of that nearly invisible branding, virtually identical to those which sell for less than half that price. Note: the brush itself was undamaged, but if you are going to gift it to someone, make sure you mark that on the order as mine arrived in a bubble envelope, and the box was pretty crushed when it arrived. ... show more

  • Works well with my fine, long hair.
This is a review of “Moroccanoil Scalp Massage Brush.” I like this scalp massager - brush. My husband has a scalp massager/scrubber that he keeps in the shower, but I find that it easily tangles my long hair. This Moroccanoil brush has only a few, very-flexible, tines made of silicone. My hair didn’t get tangled in the brush. It provided a nice scrub but was still very gentle on my scalp and hair. The frame and handle are hard plastic and make it easy to hold. I often use oils on my scalp just prior to showering. This brush will work well for that application as well as shampooing and scrubbing my hair. The brush is pretty pricey for such a simple tool. ... show more

  • A little expensive, but well made and works great for both straight and curly hair
This massage brush works great for those with straight hair, and also curly hair too. Lather with shampoo and work this baby in. I was expecting more aggressive "spikes" but they are made of soft silicon and you don't overdo it on your scalp. Water hasn't gotten into the brush yet but it seems very well made so hopefully it holds up vs. the cheaper brushes. It's made of an ergonomic shape that fits well in your palm, BUT I wish it comes with a lanyard or something that lets you hang it somewhere while you shower. ... show more

  • Great scalp massage, but a little overpriced
This soft brush is excellent for giving my scalp a nice, relaxing massage after shampooing. The bristles are robust enough to push shampoo through the hair completely while yet being soft enough to stimulate the scalp. The handle has a short rope for hanging in the shower and fits well between two fingers. However, $18 is a little overpriced for what this is. Perhaps you are paying more for branding rather than product? ... show more
