It’s small scale and firm, so make sure your expectations align with reality. Pros: - This couch actually looks just like the photos. Really beautiful and modern looking! - The fabric is super soft! Feels luxurious for the price. - I'm not a fan of firm couches (but I had read the reviews so was ready for something super firm- especially at this price point) I was pleasantly surprised that it is softer than expected. - The back has three settings- straight up, reclined, and flat. The two sides of the back can be moved independently. - I can lay comfortably across this bed - it's a little bigger than a twin. - With a couple pillows and blankets, this would probably be decently comfortable to lay on for a night or two! - Was delivered quicker than expected. Cons/ Unexpected: - It is low to the ground... very low. I'm 5'3" and if I don't sit with my back against the rest my knees are up at an awkward angle. - The back rest is very very short. It sits at about the bottom of my shoulder blades. - If you're setting this up alone, be aware that flipping it over is a little tricky because the middle is only held together by two legs. Overall, are there more comfortable couches out there? Probably. But at this price point, the style and comfort likely can't be beat. ... show more

We bought this for our kids playroom so they can play video games and/or we have somewhere to sit while we watch them play. From when it arrived it was pretty easy to put together. I actually did it myself which I am not handy at all and it took me about 45 mins. I think it pretty comfortable for being a futon. It is on the more firm side but we are hoping with time it will 'wear in' a little. We like the height of this futon as well because it is on the lower side and for our young one its not as far of a fall for her. I bought this futon for our upstairs living room, mostly as an extra sleeping space if we have a lot of guests staying over. It's not as comfortable as a bed obviously but for a futon I think it's fine. It's very easy to lay down for sleeping and sit back up. We've had the futon for about a year and so far it's holding up well. It was easy to assemble and looks nice in the space. It is a bit short so taller guests will have to bend their legs to fit. ... show more

Please take my advice and do not buy this. The couch was cheap, not sturdy, small. I went to return this and was sent a label that says "use the Mopio preferred carrier for your return to return for free, but if you cannot use the preferred carrier, you will be responsible for shipping costs." Well, the label does not specify what carrier. So I took the 2 boxes to UPS. $410 PER BOX to return this. So I sent a message to Mopio asking them to clarify what carrier to use in order to return for free. They said FedEx. I asked them to clarify again and then even sent a separate message to Amazon customer service to clarify so that I wouldn't waste another trip. I got to FedEx and they said the label provided was not even a shipping label. So then I messaged Mopio again and asked them for an actual label. They said we can issue you a pre-paid label, but now you're outside of the 30 day return window so you must pay a 30% restocking fee. I explained that I had tried to return this twice now but was not provided the necessary information or resources to return this in a timely manner. It also takes them average 2 business days to respond to messages, which causes great delay. I told them that I am demanding a prepaid label, but I absolutely will not pay a 30% restock fee for delays that are THEIR FAULT. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE ... show more

If this couch were more expensive, I'd give it a 1 star but the price really is cheap. The couch is easy to assemble and the sleeper mechanism works well and is also simple to work with. If you like firm couches, you may like this. But even so, I'm not sure as it's firm but simultaneously feels hollow? Also, each side of the couch has a pretty high BP and can be odd to sleep on but I think a mattress topper should fix is pretty well. Overall, if you're looking for a cheap, aesthetic sleeper sofa and don't mind sacrificing on comfort, you'd like this. ... show more

Very pretty couch. Not particularly comfy. Buy this as a couch that you're not planning to curl up on. It's not uncomfortable but it's definitely not cozy. But for my studio, it's the right size and it looks great. Also it's a small but functional bed for guests. HOWEVER, it is again not comfortable to sleep on due to the pillow shapes (and the pillows are not soft), so if you're going to use it as a bed often, you need a mattress topper over it. The company's customer service was really good and responsive when I initially bought the couch in a different color that didn't look good in person (the green), so I recommend buying from them. ... show more

Literally the best small couch for a new renter/home owner. Super easy to put together so far (box 2 comes tomorrow)and really comfortable to just sit on. I do think laying might be a bit of a challenge, but the arm rests are pretty easy to take off so they can be removed if necessary. Really not a bad deal though for a cheaper couch. Also, customer service is very helpful and reply within a day from my experience :) ... show more
