It's not as comfortable as a bed obviously but for a futon I think it's fine. It's very easy to lay down for sleeping and sit back up. Bought this futon to replace a really old, uncomfortable one my wife's mother had for a long time. PROS - Simple assembly with easily identifiable pieces (took about 45 mins) -- Wrench included with some additional hardware -- Instructions were easy to follow - Legs are height adjustable and are lined with rubber feet to minimize slippage and damage to the floor - Firm cushions that are comfortable to sleep in for a night - Priced appropriately (actually costs less than a similar one we saw at a brick and mortar store) - Cleverly packaged for compact and lightweight shipping CONS - There was a strong smell upon unpacking, but it went away after a day of airing out TIPS - When assembling, ensure the front legs are matched with one another as they were shaded slightly differently from the back ones It looks and feels MUCH more modern than my mother-in-law's old futon. ... show more

I needed an inexpensive sofa for my basement that looked nice and could serve as a bed for occasional overnight guests. This sofa is great! Easy to put together and substantial for the money. It’s small scale and firm, so make sure your expectations align with reality. Note: it took me a few minutes to realize that the arms, legs, and instructions were zipped into the underside of both halves of the couch. easy to assemble tiny bit bigger than I thought but I honestly eye balled it and didn’t measure. i would still say it fits well in small places. i love it as a couch and a bed. I’m 5’7 and it fits my whole body length wise. pretty comfortable and I imagine it will break in a bit too. good quality looks modern! Love the price!! ... show more

this sofa looked good in the picture but once i received it, it really had a different look, very low to the floor and very short backseat that the wood on the top falls right under the shoulders which hurts ur back, material is really cheap and the cushions are thin and very hard to sit on, i tried to return even with the option of free return they have it on the description the label they sent me didn’t work and the ups asked 480$ for the shipping. u really have to think twice before deciding to buy this cheap piece of furniture. ... show more

If this couch were more expensive, I'd give it a 1 star but the price really is cheap. The couch is easy to assemble and the sleeper mechanism works well and is also simple to work with. If you like firm couches, you may like this. But even so, I'm not sure as it's firm but simultaneously feels hollow? Also, each side of the couch has a pretty high BP and can be odd to sleep on but I think a mattress topper should fix is pretty well. Overall, if you're looking for a cheap, aesthetic sleeper sofa and don't mind sacrificing on comfort, you'd like this. ... show more

Very pretty couch. Not particularly comfy. Buy this as a couch that you're not planning to curl up on. It's not uncomfortable but it's definitely not cozy. But for my studio, it's the right size and it looks great. Also it's a small but functional bed for guests. HOWEVER, it is again not comfortable to sleep on due to the pillow shapes (and the pillows are not soft), so if you're going to use it as a bed often, you need a mattress topper over it. The company's customer service was really good and responsive when I initially bought the couch in a different color that didn't look good in person (the green), so I recommend buying from them. ... show more

I got this couch for guests to sleep on when they stay over in my room. It arrived in 2 boxes which is great for getting it into an apartment/up stairs and into a smaller room. Assembly was very easy and can practically be done alone (a 2nd person is helpful with rotating the couch but could probably be done alone if careful enough). It took probably 20 minutes total to put together from taking the pieces out of the boxes to final assembly. It’s firm but still comfortable to sit on for longer periods of time. My friend who slept on it said it was comfortable (even without folding it completely flat). Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and would but furniture from the Mopio line again! ... show more
