*update! I also bought the carry-on plus size and it fits/nests inside the trunk size! Yay! I was afraid it would not nest because the trunk is an odd size, but it fits entirely inside and zips up for easy storage. I have been debating if I wanted the traditional medium or the trunk medium and finally decided on the trunk medium. It is bigger than I was expecting which I love. One side is much deeper (like 80%ish) and the other side is shallow (20%ish) both interior sides are full zippered. Also the exterior bag zipper feels super strong, I’ve never seen a double zipper before, what a great idea. I always worry about my bag zipper popping open and my clothes going everywhere but not with this bag! When I put this bag next to my Samsonite large bag it’s about an inch shorter and 3 inches less across but thicker by about 3 inches. So it’s less wide but thicker, a skinnier from the front but fatter from the side rectangle than traditional bags. Overall the quality seems great and I love the unique old school vibe. What sold me on the trunk style is finally being able to use the stands that hotel rooms provide!! I also got the matching backpack which is great. This bag is tall so the nesting feature with the backpack doesn’t leave much handle (see pics), but not a big deal for me. This will be so easy to spot on the luggage carousel. ... show more

Quality is TOP TIER. Pockets are great, wish there was even more. Zippers are very sturdy. I love the colors. It makes me want the white as well. I have traveled with the carry and purse and the performance is great. Got may compliments on the purse the most then the carry-on. I wanted a more elevated piece of luggage. I purchased this in the carry-on size. Very pleased with how sturdy it is. Very pleased with the zipper and the locking mechanism. It comes with two small bags inside I would assume for underwear and laundry (I don't use them) The roller wheels are strong and the handle is very firm with no wiggle!! I was able to run through 2 separate airports to catch connector flights with no issues with this in tow. FYI- As a carry-on it is a tad larger for some of the smaller planes in the overhead compartments. I took 4 flights to and from vacation and some of the smaller planes I could not lay this on its long side as requested by the attendants. And I was asked twice to "gate check". Which I decided I like very much because they take it right there at the gate and as soon as I walk off the plane it's right there on the ramp which makes it so much easier to board and exit the plane. That was a learning experience for me as I do not travel often and was not familiar with the term "gate check" So if any of you are ever sitting at your gate and you hear them announce if anyone is willing to volunteer to "gate check" their luggage take the option it's incredibly convenient. 👍 ... show more

Really disappointed with the quality of this luggage. Upon third time using, the luggage cracked at the wheel attachment. I have had previous Delsey luggage that held up to rigorous world travel with no issues. I would not waste my money again on Delsey.

Rolls very nicely. Has a heavy duty double zipper that appears very sturdy. That said it is not the easiest gliding zipper but still very functional and I like the idea and design. Maybe it just needs a little lube. So far so good with this. It's been on only 3 trips so far.
