    • Overall good rack
We purchased this after trying two after market versions that weren’t up to par. We like that it matches our Jeep with the logo and everything. The main issue for us was the plastic cover that you have to remove in order to adjust the bar clasps. They are very difficult to remove and when removing one plastic cover the back of where the lock core would insert snapped off (fortunately we were able to jam the Yakima SKS lock core in there and turn it so it would stay). While we went with the lock cores for added security, it would be a task for someone to remove the covers without breaking them and then have the correct tool to loosen the bolt unless they knew how these operated. ... show more

    • Works great but got a defective one
The cross bar worked fine but I got a defective one and the plastic support on it broke. BAM wholesale parts responded immediately to my issue and promptly apologized for the defective part and offered to get me a new one. I had bad luck I guess on the part but BAM wholesale parts was Johnny on the spot to fix the issue. ... show more

    • Easy set up
These look great, we’re very easy to install, and may or may not have increased my fuel economy slightly. I only had 1000 miles on the Jeep when I got these, and was averaging about 24.5 mile per gallon. 900 miles later I’m averaging 24.9 miles per gallon. Could just be the engine being broken in too. it was a pleasant surprise though, I was expecting to take a slight hit and fuel economy adding more wind resistance. I don’t know why other people complained about the fact that the clamps were not spaced properly from the factory. The Wrangler JLU roof curves slightly. The one I put forward fit perfectly without adjustment. The one I put back had to be moved in about a half an inch on each side Because the roof is about an inch narrower in the back than it is in the middle. ... show more
