This is so cool!!! I did just get it yesterday so I'll have to update if anything changes, but so far, so good! I love how it it's actually textured and it looks so much like the moon that even my (not quite) 2 year old knew what it was immediately! She's asked several times for the "moon" since I opened it. I love the changing colors/modes and its very calming to me when I'm trying to just relax. I've used other lamps that only filter through like 3 colors in the fade or flash modes but this one goes through them all. Colors are beautiful and it's bright but not "blindingly" at its max. I haven't tried to see if I can read by the light yet but I feel like it would be fine on the correct color/brightness. I also like that I can dim it so that its not bothering my husband if he's going to sleep before me. Definitely cool that you can charge it and move it around wireless! AND set a timer for it to turn off after a set amount of minutes (multiple time options). If I could complain about literally anything it would be that you can't change the colors on the lamp it's self (you can power on/off though) and need the remote- but that's more of a "me" issue bc of my ADHD and tendency of losing remotes. I think I'll add a velcro strip inside my nightstand drawer, but if you are good at not losing your things its no big deal!

Edit: I originally gave 1 star (read below why). Changing to 4 stars because of excellent customer service and a better quality moon lamp. Not changing to 5 stars because even my replacement moon has some quirks, but it is still a beautiful lamp, and the customer service was extremely kind. Reviewing the second moon lamp, which is a different model. For the inconvenience, the company then sent me a 5.8 inch moon lamp, which was SIGNIFICANTLY bigger. The remote that comes with this lamp has a timer function. You can also hang this moon from the ceiling, if you wanted (and the moon comes with some string to do it). The stand? Still wobbly and assembles strangely. The pegs won’t always fit all the way through, so this seems to be a consistent issue. The moon lamp turned on even while charging (this time with the remote, not on its own, so that’s a huge plus!) and turned off completely. It has a pad on the bottom that, I guess, should also turn it on if you pick it up, but that hasn’t worked for me, so I guess I’m still left without a fully functioning lamp, but it’s very pretty and my main complaint was the last one wouldn’t stop turning and changing colors so this is a major upgrade. Major kudos to the company for trying to make good on their sale and offering — on their own — to replace the item. If you want to buy a moon lamp from this seller, splurge and go for the bigger one. It has more functions, has better functionality, and fewer chances of malfunctioning. Even the instruction manual seems to be written better. Overall, I’m quite happy now with my moon lamp. :) This was such a disappointing buy. I'm not even going to give it 2 stars because there was nothing really redeeming about the purchase. The stand is wobbly (one of the holes is too small so the peg can't make it all the way in) so there's always a concern it's going to fall apart. The remote worked fine for, literally, only 2 minutes (received this today). If this matters to anyone, it only comes with a USB cable to charge. This was fine for me. It might not be for others. For anyone looking to buy a moon lamp: You'll see there are a couple of similar lamps and I would recommend splurging a little bit more for a smaller, but likely better functioning model. I received the lamp today and charged it and I was very excited about the lamp. First few minutes it was working great and it was absolutely beautiful. However, something was off: The light kept changing color. The lamp comes with a remote and it has a lot of settings, including flash and strobe. Even when those have not been pressed, the light for my unit will change. I wanted to keep it white, BUT suddenly, if I put it on my hand, it would change to red, then green, then go into an orange with the fade function, so there as no consistency. The only thing that seems to reset it momentarily is turning it off, then on again. Even then, the unit will eventually keep changing colors. It is pretty useless as a lamp, but may provide a little entertainment. Still, don't waste your money. Look into other options. There's lots of similar lamps on Amazon. Read reviews carefully. I failed to look at the other 1 star reviews this time and got burned... EDITING to add that it’s now 10x worst! The lamp won’t turn off! I turn it off with the remote and it’ll randomly turn back on!

I ordered this product in January of 2022. The product was great at first, but then it started have a flickering issue. I sent a video to the customer service team, and they were extremely helpful and kind, sending me a free replacement without hesitation. The second one, unfortunately, did not work at all. Being the person that I am, I was too anxious to send them another message (despite how friendly and helpful they were) and decided to cut my losses. Fast forward to two days ago, I received an email from the customer support team, completely unprompted. They were reaching out to me to ensure that I didn't have any further issues with their product, because if I had, they wanted to send me (another) new one. They stated they had fixed the flickering issue, and that it was an issue with faulty charger cables. I updated them, letting them know that the second one also did not work properly, thanking them for taking the time to reach out to me and for their generosity. Yesterday, they let me know that they would be sending out a new one right away, and instructed me not to use the old charging cables. Today, I received the new one in the mail, and it is working beautifully! No flickering, the remote works correctly, and I am over the moon, so to speak (I am so sorry lol). I am genuinely astounded that they went this far out of their way to make things right for me. I'm blown away and very grateful!

My granddaughter loves seeing the moon so I had to buy this for her. As soon as I turned it on, she gave it a kiss. It's the perfect size for her and I love how many different colors that it has. The controller is perfect for her too. Great value at a great price. I also like that you can control the brightness of each color. It's light weight and perfect.

Pretty lamp if you’re only using it charged and unplugged for a few hours. It doesn’t light up when plugged in so you can only use it until it dies. Seems like quite the flaw for a nearly $50 lamp. I guess it’s a $50 nightlight.
