I am in love with this moon lamp. I have been wanting it for the longest time and honestly saw this one and chose this one after reading some reviews. The color choices are amazing and the brightness can change to the user’s preference and overall such a great purchase. I believe I got the 5.9” one and that is how that looks. The controller is the white one and two of the things I found that were such great features is that it doesn’t need to be plugged in to function. So just by simply leaving it to charge until the red light turns off it can be used for a long time (not really sure how long). The second feature is that the moon lamp can turn on and change colors without the use of the control. The bottom metal part where you plug in the charger, functions as a controller. Tap it once to turn it on and tap it again to change colors. At first the “moon” looked skeptical because it was textured but that’s part of what makes it the moon. This is a great gift for any nursery, birthday and Christmas gift. Maybe more towards the 12-16 age but overall for any age.

I ordered 6 of them and gave them as a gift to my family members ( young and older, males and females) They ALL absolutely loved them and opened them immediately to see them in action!!!! I thought they looked cool but everyone totally loved them! Exciting gift for anyone! They came boxed individually in a very nice box! ( not some chincy packaging. Very gift able right as you receive them!) the wooden stand just adds a really nice touch to it! It felt good giving something that felt so personal to them! So many functions on the remote that it’s just cool to watch!

This is so underwhelming in person. I gave it 3 stars because I feel like it's my fault for not reading the details. I assumed it was glass or hard plastic/frosted plexiglass with a glass like appearance. It looks and feels like a hallowed out styrofoam or paper mache ball. I assume weight is somewhere in the details, I didn't see it when I purchased. It's super light and I'm afraid I'll crush/crumple it if I handle it too much. I expected it to look like the pictures but it doesn't up close however, it does in fact photograph well and looks nice from afar. The remote works well and has many options. The cord is also very short maybe 3ft and is only a usb without a wall block/plug provided. This limits where you can put it, it has to be very close to an outlet. I am NOT a fan but it's not for me. My husband saw it from 6ft away and said it looks like the moon and our daughter will love it. I wish I could give it 4 stars but the feel of it, how it looks up close, the fact that you have to find a block to plug it into if you don't have usb outlets AND the cord is only about 3ft long all keep me from giving it another star.

The sphere is almost 6" in diameter, so substantial. These will be used for center pieces at a Galaxy Themed baby shower and subsequently 1 will be given to the mother-to-be for the nursery. Charged it and it stayed lit for over 7 hours. Very realistic, as shown in pic. Ideal for situations where you want lighting, but don't want electrical cords. Purchased battery operated fairy lights to give moon/stars effect. Husband, daughter, and son-in-law were impressed and said it was very cool - Yay!!
