My daughter just turned 7 and she had a a jeep she loved to drive around and frankly she was getting way too big for it so she needed an upgrade...we decided to go with this especially since she needs more coordination help and this seems to do the trick. First we love that came with pads because try as we may we have to admit that the girl is a wee bit clumsy and the pads so far have saved a lot of tears & scars. Second, she loves it though it is not really the greatest on anything other than pavement & we do live in a very rural area so that is a bit of a gripe for me since she mainly has to use it when we go for walks down the road but for suburban areas this would be near perfect. Third, the battery lasts long and it's pretty save really because it doesn't go fast really at all. Fourth and final, it offers exercise still...which is actually a great selling point for me personally as I want my kids to be healthy & active. My daughter needs to use her legs to get this going and even when it does have bursts of going on its own they are short and then she has to use her legs again to propel it forward more. Overall I do recommend this and my 7 yr old loves it. ... show more
