This makes for a great gift! The size is perfect for most people. Around the size of an average phone so not a problem for the pocket. Can okay a bunch of different systems, but the main ones that get people interested in this one with the folks around me are Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, Gameboy Advance, and PlayStation 1. It handles these without any issue and very smoothly. N64 is not so smooth though, so basically anything 2D and PlayStation specifically. Any more pretty and you'll need something running Android.

This thing is great! I love the ease of use, OS options, customization, and controls. It's built sturdy enough and the inputs are crisp and responsive. HDMI out is a massive win and a deciding factor in my selecting this one. The downside: I had to return the first one due to a faulty battery. Not a huge headache, but if you're getting this for a trip, get it early just in case. The biggest headache was finding an appropriate charger. It only like 1.5A chargers, which are not easy to stumble across these days. Most are 2.4A , which can damage the battery. For a battery this finicky, they really should include a wall wart with the appropriate output.

This is absolutely worth the money! This is an excellent handheld console! I have not gotten a second card to put in it, but this is an amazing feature. I absolutely love the quality of the screen, and the audio is very impressive! The RGB rings around the two sticks is a nice touch that I did not find necessary, but I have since fallen in love with. The battery life is great, much better than I expected! However, one small setback I have found is that the game selection is quite small considering the device’s capabilities. This isn’t a big deal though with how easy it is to add games!

This plays different games than I was expecting but plays them well. It is a nice little device and comfy to play retro games on. The high end stuff is not good on here but if you want to play great older games, this is an amazingly nice way to play them. I have owned all of the xx line except the cube and I kept the rg 35xx pro, the Rg 35xx SP, the rg 34xx sp and the rg 40xx h. They are similar but having 4 different xx devices lets me play the old games co-op and versus via WiFi. Only works for the older games but really fun after easy set up. Highly recommend this as part of any set of anbernic xx devices.

I personally own one and have bought 2 more for friends. These devices are fantastic for the price. I can play pretty much any ps1 game and some Nintendo games/ dreamcast/ psp games as well. One time I thought I turned it off but it was actually in sleep mode for 3 months in my drawer and the battery barely drained.

My son has been through two of these in less than two months. The first arrived, worked really well until it fell off a bed onto carpet. Less than half a meter, and the screen broke. Second one arrived and the left joystick was broken on arrival. This would be an amazing system if it worked for any period of time, but the quality control simply isn't there. Without QC, this is what you get.

A great piece of hardware crippled by its' horrifically subpar MicroSD card. I came to this device by reading several guides and discovered that this little thing is capable of playing thousands of games, but I wondered why *every guide I read* stated the included SD card was complete garbage and to replace it immediately. Well, I found out within about 25 minutes of owning the device. I tried to put my own data on it and bricked the SD card by doing just a normal SD card thing. Essentially, this is a great device for a tinkerer, and a horrible device for a novice gamer. Just do yourself a favor and immediately install some other sort of SD card within 15seconds of owning this thing. It is a great thing that does exactly what I need it to, playing games for a couple hours for a low price. But I had to work to get there, and replace parts with ones I owned.
