This retro handheld feels really good in my hands. The screen and colors are bright and vibrant. I charged the battery up and have been playing for hours and still have yet to charge it. Any retro game I could think of so far has been on here. This has an excellent and vast game selection by numerous retro systems. Another cool feature is the RGB that comes on around the joy sticks. I have gotten a bunch of compliments on this little guy. It also has an output hdmi port so you can project what your playing on a bigger screen. This has very responsive controls and no lag that I’ve encountered or seen. Thousands and thousands of games will keep you busy for hours and hours to come. Also so many games you will never get bored. I bought one for my son and he is actually playing a bunch of the games I grew up on which is super cool and nostalgic. Overall great feeling in your hands, responsive controls, long lasting battery, clear and bright display. What else could you ask for!!?? Love it!!!

Awesome for Gameboy Advance, Sega Genesis, Playstation 1, and Atari 2600 games straight out of the box. I added the games I wanted to the proper folder in the mini sd card and I was playing my favorite retro games in no time. It has a wonderful feel to it as well not cheap plastic. And the screen is great at the max brightness setting. Recommended!

The device I received was defective but judging by other reviews seems like this is an anbernic issue, the battery would drop from 80% to 12% in minutes, I couldn’t play on it for more than 30 minutes without it randomly shutting off and rebooting back or just flat out dying with no warning. I was constantly charging it, I even did a battery reset by letting it die and charging back up to 100% 3 times as recommended by others saying it fixed their issue. The buttons felt great and it was a nice device but there was so many issues i just can’t recommend this to anyone. I ended up buying trimui smart pro and it has been nothing but amazing and I highly recommend it over this garbage, it’s not expensive but if it can’t even do the simple functions it’s supposed to do that’s just not a good reason to keep it and deal with it and try and tinker with it just to do the things it should do. Kinda frustrating I really wanted to love this device as everything else about the device was really nice. I spent over 3 days tinkering with the device changing micro sd cards and reinstalling the os to see if it would fix it but nothing worked still just randomly powering off or dying and charging took all night, granted it’s a 5v charge but my other device doesn’t take this long and it’s the same 5v.

The media could not be loaded. I am blown away to nostalgia town down memory lane. This thing took me back to when i was a kid. It has sooo many classics from when i was growing up. So fun and easy to navigate and play. The graphics are really good also. Very ergonomic. The only thing it doesnt have any nintendo games and a lot of the arcade and ps1 games arent there. But still there are enough to keep you busy.

Really wanted to love it but the headphone volume was too low. I love the so many thing about the RG40XXH - but at the end of the day I couldn't hear the games and the music I had on it, and when flying it's a requirement. If you don't use the headset jack you might love this console.

This is great it has thousands of preloaded games from different consoles. It has a pretty useful feature where you can search a game and it gives you all the results across different platforms. Also its very easy to tinker with, add more games and even swap the whole system at your convenience.
