Must have for doing upper ball joints on a 1978 Ford F250 4x4 with a Dana 44 Front axle. The axle has a screw in bushing in the knuckle that was wore out on mine. The new ball joint came with it. Cut out the old piece and screwed in the new one using this tool.

    • Works great - jusk keep it tight and straight.
Well made, fits great. Spray PB Blaster or equivalent into the ball joint sockets several hours to a couple days before you use this on old tie rod ends. Use a clamp or tie rod puller puller to hold the tool tight and square in the spanner nuts. Loosen it slowly, cycle back and forth if needed to keep the spanner nuts from seizing and the tool from breaking. Holding it tight and square is critical though. ... show more
