  • Glad I found this
Style Name: MX1 Box Reticle
When I came upon this bundle, I was looking for an offset scope mount to mount an old scope to a new rifle. The specs of the scope far exceeded my old scope. The added cost for the bundle as compared to just the mount was a no-brainer so I went with this combo. Everything fit well together and the mounting was easily accomplished. I like the fact that there was a battery already installed in the scope, but an extra battery was included. The instructions were well written and it even came with a wrench to secure the torx head screws (although I used my regular gun-smith tools for the attachment). The image through the scope was superb - very bright and clear. The lighted reticle was perfect with good incremental adjustments throughout the range between red and green. The appearance and construction of all the materials were of high quality. I will consider this brand for future projects. ... show more

  • Monstrum Banshee 2-10x30 MPVO Rifle Scope
Style Name: BDCB1 Drop Reticle
Amazing quality for the buck! I like the fact that it provides up to 4" of eye relief, the glass and coatings are super clear and the turrets are set screw lockable to reset the dials to "zero" after sighting in. This scope ranges between 2 and 10x with a very smooth twist of the dial and was super easy to sight in. Holds zero rock solid even after rattling around in my ATV's rifle rack. So far, 200 yard shots are simply a piece of cake. Although Monstrum includes a nice cantilever mount in the box, I found it to be a bit high for my liking so I purchased the Monstrum Zero MOA Deadlock mount which gave me a perfect scope height - closer to the bore axis. I will use the included mount on another rifle with a larger objective lens. The red and green reticle functions offer a very nice range of brightness for all lighting conditions, however, I mostly shoot during daytime hours with the reticle "off". For early morning or late evening shoots I use the red or green functions as needed. Again, the reticle stays crisp and clear. If you're considering a budget friendly LPVO or MPVO, look no further. This scope will not disappoint. ... show more

  • Good scope for the price
Style Name: BDCB1 Drop Reticle
This a well made scope and considering what you get with it very very good price. This is an illuminated optic with a one piece mount, flip up covers, extra screws and a extra battery for $100. I've only put 40 rounds thru my rifle after mounting (AR 5.56) intial zero and sighting had zero issues. My only concern is the windage adjustment turret is pretty stiff and it's a hard to hear and feel the clicks when adjusting, the elevation turret doesnt have this issue. The magnification ring is also pretty stiff but its not a deal breaker, the illumination is bright and clear, overall so far I'm pleased with this product, we will see how it holds up with use ... show more

  • Not too bad (mounted on a 556 rifle)
Style Name: BDCB1 Drop Reticle
Mounted on a 556 rifle. Great positive knob adjustments. Build quality seems solid. I actually like the longer look to this optic, I know there are shorter ones, but this one seems to fit my build perfectly. I like the 1 on -1 off style illuminated reticle knob. Instead of ramping up the intensity it allows users to increase each setting with a shut off between each setting.. meaning instead of having to cycle through all the brightness settings you can hover between the off and the brightness setting that works for you. My optic came “nearly” zeroed, only had to adjust the elevation was all. Got it dialed in 3 shots at 25yards. Magnification/built in throw lever works well. I played with that a bit at the range. I also like the mount that came with this optic, it was low enough profile I don’t need a cheek riser. Time will tell with this optic, Monstrum has a few optics with lifetime warranties and this is one of them. Which at the very least means if something does go wrong, I can get it fixed.. so I like that as a type of protection with this optic. Some of their other optics have 1 year warranties so take that for what you will. With my range day and initial impressions on build quality, I’d say that at this point I can see myself buying another one of these scopes. ... show more

  • A good deal overall.
Style Name: MX1 Box Reticle
Its pretty good for 100 bucks. Clear and I like the MX1 reticle. The illumination is also very nice. But, there is things I dont like. At max zoom, the eyebox becomes very narrow and unforgiving. Its not as bad as some other cheap scopes I have and its totally usable. I also wish it was it was a little bit lighter, but that might be a nitpick. ... show more
