Good quality scooter. Came pre-assembled. At first it was rattling a lot and noticed that it was the lever that you release to fold it. I didn't realize you had to push it all the way it to lock it in place, and that solved the problem. Very happy with the scooter - smooth ride.

I've been using this to scooter around with my little cousin, who is using a smaller scooter for kids. This scooter is tough, that's for sure. It can handle bumps and curbs with little issue, and the frame feels solid to hold onto and put your weight on. My only real issue is with how it folds and steers. The folding can feel a little stilted, like the joints haven't been well lubricated out of the factory. Not sure what's going on there, but a little lubricant goes a long way in making it fold smoothly. Steering is a more annoying issue; the scooter, likely due to the larger wheels, has a lot "tighter" steering than one would expect from, say, a Razor A1. Turning the steering feels jittery, like the wheels are actively fighting against you moving them in a certain direction. It's very noticeable if you lift the front wheel off the ground and try to turn it, you'll immediately notice the resistance. When you're actually riding, it's less annoying, but it does make turning significantly more difficult than a smaller wheel alternative. Maybe trying to use lubricant on this may fix the issue. Regardless, if you want a cheap scooter that can handle the bumps of commuter-level riding, this will do. ... show more

This scooter is adorable and well-made but I wish it was advertised correctly because I bought it thinking it would be big enough for a small adult like myself. I am only 5'5 and the handle bars are significantly too short for my comfort. This is a children's scooter that will likely be too small for anyone over 12. You can adjust the handle bars a lot so it would be a nice product for a growing kid, but it still doesn't go up nearly far enough for a teen or an adult to use. It has LED light-up wheels and comes already put together which is nice and very giftable. If you're looking for a children's scooter, this is an affordable and high-quality option that will likely last years. If you're looking for a teen or adult scooter, you need to keep looking. ... show more

I got this scooter to make my 12 minute walk to the light rail/bus stops easier. I am an adult, so my goal was a to find an affordable scooter that could easily withstand my weight, was easy to collapse and carry for riding the bus or train, and being cute was an added bonus. I saw some complaints that it was loud. This has everything to do with the folding mechanism. But I wouldn't trade the ease of that folding mechanism for the world. Also, last time I scootered I was probably 14, but I don't remember it being quiet. I saw other reviews about it snapping upon doing a simple bunny hop, so I tested that and so far so good. Cons: handle bars not easy to pull out brake not very responsive (that was a scary realization) noisy on bumpy roads/ not a smooth ride Pro and Con: front wheel seemingly stuck in straight position unless weight is on the scooter. I honestly was soo used to the bottom part swinging that I read the entire handbook to make sure it wasn't put together improperly. Overall i like that it has structure, especially when collapsing it, but it does make for a more rigid ride. Pro: Super easy to collapse nice foot grip great handle bar grips very light (from what I remember scooters to be) Super cute color/design Overall it does what I need it to do. I did buy it through amazon prime used, so it was $38. it came in the original box and seemed brand new. So I am quite happy with my purchase. Maybe a razor scooter is better but all the inexpensive ones were rated for 143 weight max and this scooter is rated for 176 weight max. I am 5' 5" and 130lbs. the scooter is just about the perfect height for me. side note: forget that pushing a scooter uses your leg and core muscles a lot. I do have a perfectly good car, but I bought the scooter while said car needed some TLC from my mechanic. The scooter takes me to the bus stop, and once I get close to work, spares me the 1-mile hike to my final destination. I now like it so much, I look for reasons to use it, like making short trips to the store. I have found that I now look for opportunities to use public transportation, and leave the car at home. You need to know that you might need to adjust the front wheel to line up perpendicular to the handlebars, by adjusting the bracket shown in the photo. There are no tools included, and the instructions I received were exclusively in French...so good luck with that. ... show more
