The media could not be loaded. I got this electic scooter because my electric skateboard broke down, and really need something for entertainment during the lockdown, it turned out to be my favorite so far, only 1/3 of my eletric skateboard price, but double the fun lol. I used it to cruise around the park and the neighbor everyday, and took it for shopping time to time. Pro: 1. The battery is great, only need charge every three days. I commuted 3-4 miles everydays, so it was not bad. 2. The brake is good, with the double braking system, it was very safe to ride even for a newbie. 3. The tires are air-filled, so it still offers good riding quality even in bumpy road. 4. The deck is wide, with 19 in X 6 in which is big and comfortable for most ppl. 5. It reachs the max speed really fast, compare to my old eletric skateboard, about 7 sec after I tested, which is good for the price I paid. 6. The price is great for the entry-level scooter, I think this is might be one of the lowest price compare to others brands, I had hard time deciding between Xiaomi or Gotrax, so far, I am super happy with the this for the low price I paid, just wish I knowed about the affiliation link on Youtube video, so I can save another 10%, but absolutely worthy every single pennies for the fun I have during this month. 7. It offers two modes/gears. 1st caps at 10 miles I think, good for kids. And 2nd caps at 15.6 miles or somethings, it is actually faster than it sounds. 8. It is small when I fold it up, fit into uber or my car easily. Cons: 1. The speed still caps at 15 miles even at downhill(I guess for safety reason), wish it could be fast lol, maybe it is just me, I get used to skate downhill.... 2. If offers a very bright LED headlight. But No rear light(only a reflector), You have to get some rear light in your backpack when it is dark outside for safety. 3. you have to get a strap for handle, it is a little difficult to hold for a person with smaller hands, because the battery was installed inside. I have not tested in the snow, but even it rains, I still able to commute around. Overall, I think this is the best scooter you can find in this price range. It offers fast and smooth ride. Decent range, good portability, great quality, big deck, and nice battery, for the 300 I paid, it is really worthy.

This is my first electric scooter. I figured I would try one of these out since a lot of people in my neighborhood seem to have them, even 50 yr old ladies. I was a little put off on buying an e-bike because of the price so this was definitely an entry level option. Plus I saw while searching they have some sort of seat attachment on Amazon so I may purchase one later. Well I have to say it is super fun to ride! It takes off really fast or at least it feels fast lol. I really like the lights on it front and back plus reflectors. It only took a couple hours for a full charge. So far I gave 4 stars, I took one star because the box was a bit beat up and the foam inside was torn up from the shipping which made me a little nervous. And it does make noise but not sure that is normal so we will see the next time I ride. I will update after a few more rides but literally got it yesterday. Update: Almost a year later and I love this scooter! It has a great battery! I take it with me to the park and when I visit my family in MI! Itβs super funny watching my Mom and Mother in law ride on holidays! If you are looking this is a good entry level machine. Had to give an extra star. My next door neighbor bought one for his son after seeing us play on mine!

Bought this scooter for my son for his 13th birthday a couple of months ago. He's a big kid and he appreciated the sturdiness of the scooter, the speed( (though he wants a faster one, that's not the fault of the scooter), and the battery life. Unfortunately I had to knock of 2 stars because of the tires. He went to ride it one day and the rear was flat. I inflated it and within an hour it was flat again. I'm a bike mechanic and I quickly diagnosed a leak in the tube with no damage to the tire. This is where things got fun. The tire is very hard to get off, and the tools I used resulted in additional damage to the tube so I couldn't tell where the original leak came from. I also marred the wheel and tire considerably. Through some online research I went with a tubeless "honeycomb" style tire so as to not have to deal with an unexplained flat again, but getting that on took all my skill, patience and strength. Now that it's done I feel like the speedometer isn't correctly calibrated, but my son is happy. GoTrax advertises the pneumatic tire as a "feature", but it's a disaster waiting to happen. ***UPDATE. Following this review GoTax reached out to me and offered a replacement tire for free, which I accepted. Because the changing process is still difficult I'm only giving 1 star back, but I appreciate the customer service.
