I recently installed these solar powered lights in my front yard. I needed lighting to see my dog when I let her out at night, and these lights do the job pretty well. The motion sensor activates the bright LED lights whenever movement is detected in the yard. The lights are easy to mount and install since they are solar powered - no wiring required. I just positioned the solar panels in sunny areas and the batteries charge up automatically during the day. The lights are decently bright when they turn on at night. The 4 adjustable heads allow me to direct the light where I need it most. The motion sensor seems to work great and the lights activate reliably whenever my dog is running around. I got the 4-pack of lights which provides enough coverage for my small front yard. The lights are also weatherproof so I don't have to worry about rain or snow. The only complaint I have is that the lights could be a bit brighter. 2500 lumens is pretty good, but I wish they were just a little more intense for maximum visibility at night. The lights also turn off after about 20 seconds or so after motion is detected. I'd prefer if they stayed on a bit longer. Overall, these solar powered lights work well for basic outdoor security and visibility. They're easy to install and maintain. I would recommend them to anyone looking for hassle-free outdoor lighting, just don't expect incredibly bright light. I just think a few improvements could be made, but for the price, they're definitely worth it.

If you have a well lit area that can keep this light charged this is a really nice simple option for outdoor lighting. No wires or anything is very nice. We use this in the backyard for the swimming pool and the dog area and it is quite bright. It does what it says it will do which is good enough for me. I don't know how long it would last if continuously on. Thos is a good simple solution for certain lighting needs.

Around 15 years ago I purchased an outdoor solar lantern which was very dim, had no motion detection and the light would go out in a couple of hours. I am amazed how the technology has evolved so much. There are 4 modes: 1. light turns on at dark at dim setting; 2. light turns on at dark @ dim setting (around 40W brightness) and when motion is detected it will turn very bright for 20 seconds; 3. It will turn on bright light for 20 seconds when motion is detected after dark. 4. It will flash SOS signals when motion is detected in the dark which is useless; I rather it has a feature to keep the very bright light for 4 hours for party then go back to DIM.. I set it at #2 and it will light up all night till dawn which is awesome, providing not a lot of motion was detected and I only installed it for a month. The motion detection range is around 15' and it won't turn on when no one is there unlike some wired motion detection lights. The solar panel is detachable with a pair of short wires attached. I flipped it 180 deg so the solar panel is placed closer to the front for better sun exposure. FYI, I live in Southern California, the sunny state. For the little money that it costs, including a remote control and shipping cost, it is an excellent light especially for places without electrical connections. I know batteries will die out and if I can get 2 years out of it then I'm happy. So far I've only got it for less than a week and will update later on.

We bought these lights to light up the side yards. One of them works really well and the other turns off in the middle of the night. I am not sure if we just don't get enough sunlight or if that is just how this is? Either way, while it is on it is decent and provides us with more light than we had without it. I just wish it would have stayed on all night. The motion aspect works well though.

I love the low light setting. Gives visibility without lighting up the night. This makes it feel safer around my space. Dinged a star because you have to be so close to use the remote. I tried changing a setting from the back porch which is right under the light and that wouldn’t work. It needs a direct unobstructed line of sight to work.

These were really good, the light is nice and strong and the radius can be really wide depending on how you angle the wing lights…the different modes are really good too and the motion sensor works well and is snappy. Seems to be truly waterproof because we got some showers recently and I am yet to see any water settle. Once you install it as directed you will be fine…overall good product thus far…will update if required.
