I use this to lift my Ryobi RM480e mower and it works very well. Easy to lift, easy to lower, stores in very little space. I leave it fully assembled and park my mower right in front of it, so it takes up very little extra space and is always available for use. It uses a screw-type mechanism for raising and lowering, which feels very secure and requires no air pressure or hydraulics or fluids. Just a little light oil on the screw thread. It's got 3 built-in security stop points, at which the lifted weight is resting on the frame, rather than on the screw.. so you *could* leave it in a lifted position for long periods of time if it were necessary to do so, Assembly was very easy and took only a few minutes. The components are quite sturdy and seem to be well made. After assembly, the whole thing seems a little wobbly, but as soon as there's weight on it, it gets quite stable and sturdy. This model has a 450lb capacity, but since you're only lifting the front end of the mower, it would be able to lift quite a large mower. Lifting my little RM480e was child's play for it, It's possible to use a battery or wall-powered drill to turn the lifting.lowering screw, but the hand crank is ore convenient and quite easy to use, All in all, I'm quite satisfied with this product. Style: Lawn Mower Lift
I have a John Deere E120 lawn tractor. I bought this item to elevate the mower to exchange the mower blades instead of taking the deck off each season, which was such a pain. This makes the maintenance task so much easier and safer. The setup of the lift takes some time but it is not difficult. Just read the instructions and take your time. There is also setup information shown on YouTube for MoJack lifts, which is helpful. This lift works amazingly well! Best decision to get the lift. The cost is a bit high, but it will last a number of years, and will save money in the long run instead of having the dealer do the exchange. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. I don't really write many reviews but I am making an exception for something that I really think deserves one. This lift is AWESOME! Should be called "AwesomeJack", except "Mojack" does make more sense. About a year ago, I bought a Simplicity 38" lawn tractor and it is about time to change blades. It's difficult and dangerous to try to lift a lawn tractor up HIGH ENOUGH so that you can safely and easily change the blades. This Mojack makes it a piece of cake, after removing the front counterweight on the tractor, it lifts it a full two feet in the air and changing out my blades took literally minutes. Will pay for itself in no time when compared to the cost and hassle of trailering this into a shop. I pondered the cheaper one from a company that rhymes with "Schmarber Trait", but the YouTube reviews on that one were so-so at best and there were a number of complaints about reliability right out of the box. This Mojack came very well packaged, all the hardware is now blister packed and identified for easy assembly of the jack, probably took me about 20 minutes. Well designed, well manufactured, good welds and paint. I wasn't sure whether I should go with this model of MoJack with the mechanical gear vs the model that uses the hydraulic jack for the lift. In the end, I felt that this one would likely be the most reliable over time, although I have no doubt that the hydraulic model is equally as well designed.     • Easy to assemble and easy to use
Style: Lawn Mower Lift
I bought this lift to change the blades on my Ferris 400S zero turn mower. I service the mower at my house to save money not having to pay someone else for simple maintenance. . The instructions were clear and assembling went without a hitch. It took me about about 30-40 minutes but your time may vary depending on how many interruptions come you way (cell calls, texts, children, wife, etc). I like that the small bolts, nuts, cotter pins and the like were secured in their own packet, organized and clearly labeled. After assembling, I secure the front tires with the straps and chocked the rear tires. I remembered someone mentioning in another review that it's important to release the parking brake so that the screw mechanism doesn't bind. The MoJack Easy Max easily lifted the mower. The mower weighs about 750 pounds and the lift is rated at 450 pounds. I figured the lift was raising about 275 pounds at the most. It took very little effort to turn the lift mechanism and there was no binding. The packaging says it lifts 24 inches and I found there was plenty of room to work under the mower. I highly recommend using an impact driver to remove the blade bolts since there was no way I was going to get those bolts off with a socket wrench. Using the lift made it so much easier and the bolts were no match for the impact driver. I highly recommend this lift for anyone who wants to quickly and safely change blades. I gave 4 out 5 stars because I think it should be sold for less. But it did perform the task and that's what counts. ... show more

It works, and well! No more crawling on the concrete to change blades or reach grease points that are almost impossible even when drop deck all way down. Follow directions, and very sturdy. Hand-cranking the lift is not hard at all.

Wow, I waited too long to have a tool that allows me to work on my lawn tractor safely. Heavy duty, easy to assemble, and very stable and safe to allow access to the mower blades. I know it costs a bit more but certainly seems worth it for a heavy duty tool. Highly recommend.
