Got this for my JD 330X tractor with its twin blade mowing deck. For years, I’ve been using make-shift ramps, using 2X10s and foundation blocks to get enough access to the underside of my deck to allow swapping out the two blades. It was always a struggle to set this up and I’d had enough of it after my 4th year. The MoJack worked perfectly for my 330X which has a protective bumper on the front. No worries about clearance. The lift should allow for plenty of room for tractors that might have a big protruding nose profile, forward of the front wheels. My JD tractor weighs in at about ~500 pounds with deck attached. This lift was stable and strong and I had zero wobble, issues or concerns about safety or stability. Keep in mind when you are lifting only the front end of the tractor, you are NOT lifting the entire weight of it. Thus, I was under the ~450 weight limit of this lift and I purchased it knowing that. This lift stores well in a small profile and the two sections which separate allow it to be stored in a corner or hung on a wall. Each section is light enough to easily handle for one person. I’m delighted with this lift and like so many other reviewers, it makes changing blades on a mowing deck, a breeze compared to the dreaded “improvised ramp or hoist” method. 5 stars all around!

Get's the job done!
Style: Lawn Mower Lift
I unpackaged the MoJack EZ Max today and assembled it in about 15 minutes, and that includes using the assembly to teach my 10-year old son about using instructions and assembly. Only 6 bolts and nuts to put together this lift, followed by six clevis, push and hair pins to assemble the adjustable parts, and we were ready to put it to work lifting our SCAG Tiger Cub to take off the three blades and sharpen them. The SCAG front wheels are not aligned - one is a little forward of the other - so I was a little concerned about how this lift would handle lifting the mower at an angle. Let me just say that the front wheels fit snug into the wheel pads, and with about 50 turns and application of the carrier locking handle, the tractor was lifted to max height and locked into place, providing easy access to the mower blades. The nuts were quite tight and I had to use the 4 lb. "persuader" to get them free. The lift never moved even with all of the force I was applying. I am very pleased with this lift and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stable, affordable way to lift their zero turn and lawn tractors for routine maintenance of the mower blades and deck.

Simple and effective lift

I use this to lift my Ryobi RM480e mower and it works very well. Easy to lift, easy to lower, stores in very little space. I leave it fully assembled and park my mower right in front of it, so it takes up very little extra space and is always available for use. It uses a screw-type mechanism for raising and lowering, which feels very secure and requires no air pressure or hydraulics or fluids. Just a little light oil on the screw thread. It's got 3 built-in security stop points, at which the lifted weight is resting on the frame, rather than on the screw.. so you *could* leave it in a lifted position for long periods of time if it were necessary to do so, Assembly was very easy and took only a few minutes. The components are quite sturdy and seem to be well made. After assembly, the whole thing seems a little wobbly, but as soon as there's weight on it, it gets quite stable and sturdy. This model has a 450lb capacity, but since you're only lifting the front end of the mower, it would be able to lift quite a large mower. Lifting my little RM480e was child's play for it, It's possible to use a battery or wall-powered drill to turn the lifting.lowering screw, but the hand crank is ore convenient and quite easy to use, All in all, I'm quite satisfied with this product. Very Well Constructed
Style: Lawn Mower Lift
I was a little nervous about purchasing this unit as there were no previous reviews. I bought it strictly on comparing the price difference of the 300lb Mojack at about $200 compared with the 500lb Mojack at over $300. When it arrived, I immediately noticed the quality of the metal and good instructions. Putting it together was fairly easy. On the outside of the box, it states that it can hold 450lb which Amazon made clear. They also made clear that the span of the lift for the tires etc... However, I noticed that the box also states that the jack is good for a tractor up to 54" and a Zero Turn of 66". There is more front end weight with the tractors. This concerned me as I have a 52" Husqvarna which is pretty heavy duty with the thicker gauge welded deck. My particular tractor has a front bumper which comes out a few inches. When I lined the wheels up, the bumper touches the jack screw which scratches the bumper. Granted, the instructions say to remove any attachments in the front prior to lifting. However, this would be a huge pain. When I started to jack the angle of the bumper tilted which brought it away from the bumper. Then when I reached the top, the hand crank hits the bumper and there is really no way around this. Therefore, I was forced to remove the crank and use my drill to lift and lower, which is AWESOME! I then had great access to clean the inner deck and replace the blades. This will pay for itself in two service calls. I would of given in 5 stars if Amazon would of stated in the specs the tractor width limit guideline of 54" and if Mojack would of designed it to extend past my bumper. Which are on several tractor brands out there. Husqvarna makes many of the Craftsman tractors. Just look at the Craftsman tractors and you'll see the bumper I'm referring to for reference. Works great
Style: Lawn Mower Lift
The product is well made of heavy construction materials. Assembly was very easy. I have a 54" fabricated heavy steel mower deck and it has become to much for me to do deck maintenance by removing the deck. I was able to install the lift and replace all 3 blades in less than a half hour. Belt replacement will also be much easier with this lift. The lift provides the option of using a drill to raise and lower the mower. I did;t need that because the mechanical advantage of the screw mechanism made it easy to raise and lower the mower. The only drawback for me was cost. It is not inexpensive but I think it is worth the cost.

MoJack EZ Max 4500 works terrifically for John Deere E120

I have a John Deere E120 lawn tractor. I bought this item to elevate the mower to exchange the mower blades instead of taking the deck off each season, which was such a pain. This makes the maintenance task so much easier and safer. The setup of the lift takes some time but it is not difficult. Just read the instructions and take your time. There is also setup information shown on YouTube for MoJack lifts, which is helpful. This lift works amazingly well! Best decision to get the lift. The cost is a bit high, but it will last a number of years, and will save money in the long run instead of having the dealer do the exchange. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. Also, get wheel chocks which are essential. Take care...

Where has this been all my life?
Style: Lawn Mower Lift
I always dreaded changing blades on my John Deere E140 lawn tractor. There is no safe easy way to jack it up and put it on jack stands. So I always went with what the owners manual says and removed the deck. What a pain that is. And just as bad putting it back on and trying to simultaneously line up 4 mounts perfectly front/back, side to side, and up/down. I knew there had to be a better way so I searched and found this. Wow. Came very well packaged, all the parts and hardware were there and in great shape. The instruction manual is very user-friendly and I had no problems assembling it, hooking up my tractor and raising it up. I used the option of raising and lowering it with a drill instead of the crank, and that saved time plus muscle endurance. I was able to go under the deck and efficiently swap out the blades using my blade removal tool/blade blocking tool (another aggravation-saver) and quickly lower it back down. Even including assembly time, the whole process took less time and stress than removing and reinstalling the deck. And I never questioned my safety while doing so, my blades need to be torqued to 65 ft. lbs. and nothing moved even a little bit during whole job. Just be sure to follow the instructions for securing everything before raising it up. This is hands-down one of my better purchases. Yes, it's not cheap, but in terms of effort, safety, time and cuss words, is well worth it. And if I had broken down and paid a mower shop to make a house call to replace the blades, that would have likely cost me in labor and service call what I paid for the Mojack. And he may well have used his Mojack anyway! And now I have it for next time, so it becomes more cost-effective over time. Let's face it, replacing mower blades is no one's favorite job. But this Mojack reduces it to tolerable. I won't say I'm looking forward to replacing the blades next time :) but I won't approach it with the sense of dread as before. If you have a riding mower/lawn tractor and change your own blades, you need this. I highly recommend it.

This MoJack EZ MAX mower lift has been a big help for routine lawn mower maintenance. It feels solid and well built, and the 450 lb lifting capacity is more than sufficient for a typical residential riding mower. Setup was straightforward, and lifting the mower is smooth and controlled. Once raised, the mower feels stable and secure, which makes tasks like blade changes, belt inspection, and underside cleaning much easier and safer compared to crawling underneath. I appreciate that it fits a wide range of residential and zero-turn mowers. The folding design is also a plus — when not in use, it stores flat and doesn’t take up much space in the garage. Overall, this is a well-designed, dependable mower lift that does exactly what it’s intended to do. If you do your own mower maintenance or repairs, this tool saves time, effort, and a lot of hassle.
