You know how for some area rugs the plush yarn is so thick and dense it's impossible or near impossible to work your fingers through the yarn to reach the burlap-y mesh that holds it all together below? Well, this isn't that. I expected it to be because I actually have two other Mohawk area rugs that ARE like that, area rugs that aren't the same pattern as each other or as this one but are the exact same color scheme, so I expected the same for this smaller area rug for in front of my kitchen think. That super dense yarn not only causes the carpet to wear extremely well, like my living room area rug and dining room area rug that are 7 years old and look as good as new, showing absolutely zero wear, but also it adds comfort, cushioning, which is what you want from an area rug in front of a kitchen sink-- or at least what I want. Because it ties in with my living room and dining room are rugs colorwise without being matchy-matchy, I'm keeping it. I am disappointed, though, that the quality isn't in this rug like what's in my other two, especially at this price. I mean, the price of this small in-front-of-the-kitchen-sink one is almost half of what I spent on my living room rug, though that was seven years ago and I did get a great deal on it on clearance, but still, it's 8' x 10' and this is only 2' 6" in x 3' 10", which is 10 times the amount of rug. In addition to the thickness of the plush being so spartan that it doesn't offer the comfort I'd hoped for, I can tell from my experience with rugs of similar thickness that it's going to offer me only one or maybe two years at best of use before it looks too haggard to keep, nothing like the seven years I've gotten out of the other two, and for $47, it definitely, definitely should. This $47 area rug is not a good value for the money as it's quality is more on par with an area rug you'd get for maybe $10 or $15. ... show more

I’m thinking about putting this rug in more rooms. The colors are so aesthetically pleasing. It has grippy material on the bottom so no need for extra anti slip rug pieces. Cleans up really easily with a sweep, vacuum, or spot clean. It is hands down (or up in the air) my most favorite rug ever!

This rug really brightens up our kitchen. It doesn't show dirt or dog hair easily and appears to be durable and easy to clean--though I haven't had it long enough to know for sure. And the colors match my Fiestaware dishes and accessories perfectly so that's definitely a win! It doesn't slide around at all on our tile floor so no pad is necessary here but it might depend on your flooring. It's soft and pleasing underfoot and a great place for my senior dog to nap. :) Great value for the price and I may even order another smaller size to use in front of the kitchen door. ... show more
