I got this idea from two separate Campground Host whom are Full-Time RVers. They installed these Camco strap system and have had them all season even with the summer monsoon storms up here in the White Mountains of Az. If the ground is soft enough, use the excluded anchors. The stakes and the springs are great, however i replaced the straps with heavier duty straps i normally use for securing my ATV in my truck

Idk why i thought the straps would be wider,, but I put them on my awning anyway. They work GREAT! It's been very windy lately and got these because I got tired of putting the awning up and down and worrying about the wind. Strong wind for 2 days now. Tree branches down etc but Awning, roller and bars 100% fine. Camper rocked more than the awning. Haha. Definitely worth the money and a must have for awnings. ... show more
