This is a very nice product , beautiful leather and braided on the sides . My only complaint would be that the handle seems small Even for me that has small hands , so not sure how a mans would .

Very nice. Please consider these suggestions. Make the part you grasp longer, so a large gloved hand can fit in it. Don't drill holes in the strap that attaches it to the saddle. That way I can drill my own hole where it's tight to the saddle. Tx

The glue that is used to help bind the rolled and stitched leather that forms the handle had oozed all over. It is a sticky mess! You cannot hold on to the handle without getting glue all over you. I will try to remove it with adhesive remover, but that will probably alter the color of the oiled leather. I cannot use it as is. ... show more

I have never used a night latch before but I love it. It is not needed often but it is wonderful to have when it is needed. This would also be good for a beginner to be able to pull her/his seat back into the saddle. Very well made. I would recommend this brand.

I ordered this night latch to help me feel more secure when riding my “more go than whoa” horse.
