This review is for the 14 inch Queen. Like most reviews about this mattress here, including mine, they are from someone who hasn't had this mattress very long, so I will be updating this from time to time. It's easy to say it is nice and comfortable when it's new, but how does it hold up over time is important to know so updates will be coming to this review from time to time. Pros: Shipping was right on time and it was packaged carefully and received in great condition. We received it on Thursday and put it on the bed and unwrapped it as soon as we got it. There was no odor or chemical smell of any kind right out of the box. We let it expand for more than 48 hours before sleeping on it Saturday, or last night. The mattress is very firm with a plush topper on it. It's very firm but not hard. I had the best nights sleep last night that I've had in a very long time last night thanks to this mattress. It is very supportive and comfortable. I am a side sleeper that turns frequently and I found myself turning last night much less than I usually do. We are coming off a twelve year old 10 inch Serta mattress and I am pleased as punch that we went with the 14 inch mattress this time. I'm really impressed with how tall it is. As a big and tall person, the height makes is real easy to get in and out of. Cons: None yet Other information: I am a big person, 6'3" and 330#. My wife is pretty small, about 5'3" and 135#. After the first night her opinion is that she was comfortable on it and slept better than she has in a while. It may actually prove to be a bit firm for a smaller person or for someone who doesn't care for a firm mattress, , but for me, I am very surprised and happy with how well it supports me. Again, it is very firm but not hard - very supportive. The topper adds just the right amount of plush softness on top where we lie. When either of us move or roll on our side, the other person doesn't feel it on their side. Recommendation: If you are a big or tall or heavy person and need a firm mattress, or just someone whole prefers a firm mattress, I recommend this one in the 14 inch height. The 14 inch height is well worth the additional cost over the 10 inch in my opinion. I also recommend for the 14 inch mattress that you let it expand 48 hours before sleeping on it. The website recommends 24 hours, but I can tell you that after the initial 24 hour period, ours expanded another several inches over the second 24 hour period. Give it 48 hours to expand before sleeping on it, you will be glad you did. 11-26-2019 UPDATE Have slept on the mattress 10 nights now. No change in opinion, 5 stars... 12-18-2019 UPDATE We've been sleeping on this bed for a month now and still loving it. The past week has been with our little grandson sleeping with us.

I got the queen size of the Modway Jenna 14" mattress five years ago, and it's holding up better than any mattress I've had in my life. I'm *that* impressed that I came back 5 years later to write this review after recommending this bed to a friend. I'm a 300lb+ man, have shared this bed with a partner for several years, and even now I can't detect anything like a sag, a dip, or a lean anywhere. It's incredibly comfortable to lay on even now. So soft but still retaining practically all the integrity and strength it had when I got it. I honestly could see myself getting 20+ years out of this. Worth every penny.

I bought this mattress because of the reviews and price point. I have bought mattresses online before with satisfaction. I read reviews that said this mattress is worth more than the price advertised but I would say that is not the case. It is a good standard mattress. Soft yet firm but still softer than I thought it would be as I sink in quite a bit. I am only 5'7" at 140lbs. I don't think I would recommend it for people who might need a sturdier mattress. But the construction and quality unfortunately fit the lower price point I'd say. Not a very high quality mattress though I sleep on it comfortably. Who knows how long it will last though. The springs underneath don't seem very sturdy. When I opened the box and unrolled the mattress it did spring open very fast! There is a warning on the mattress roll that says to open away from any person. This is definitely advised! There was a slight chemical smell from the foam but it went away quickly. I am sensitive to chemical smells and it didnt really bother me. For comfortability, convenience, low price point, and minimal chemical smell I give it 4 stars.

The quality of the mattress shocked me. I ordered a "firm" mattress and it honestly has provided me with the best night of sleep I have had in years. My old mattress was far past it's use by date and had sunk in the middle. It caused me to wake up stiff and sore in my lower back. I saw this mattress and decided to give it a try. My 53 year old joints and hips are grateful for the decision my head made! I waited for 36 hours and measured the thickness of the mattress. It had expanded to 14 inches during that time. I slept on it last night and cannot wait to crawl back into bed again when it comes time.

This is a nice thick mattress for the price. It’s easy to sit down/stand up because it’s so thick that it sits higher than my previous 17 yr old mattress. It’s more comfy because there are no springs poking me. However, the pillow top is too soft. I kind of sink in a little. It makes my legs feel a little hot and that makes my restless legs syndrome flare. Also, being a stomach / side sleeper, my low back tends to hurt/be stiff when I wake. This was something I was hoping to alleviate with a new mattress but it just isn’t firm enough. Obviously I’m keeping it though because returns are impossible. I don’t have a machine to vacuum pack a 35lb mattress in plastic to mail back - as the condition it arrived. Also, yes it is kind of heavy being around 35lbs. I know that isn’t a lot in general but it is for a full size mattress. Anyway, I’m looking to invest in a firm mattress topper. Sadly, that’s another few hundred dollars. If you have rls or sore back from soft mattresses DO NOT BUY. I wish I had looked for a true “firm” mattress but I saw reviews here that said this was on the firm side. Well, not in my opinion.
