4-Stars Because: PRICE: EXCELLENT VALUE COMFORT: I selected FIRM, but I would say that this is definitely MEDIUM - there is several inches of "squish", but it is comfortable (especially if you sleep on your side or stomach). In hindsight, I should have opted for EXTRA FIRM. SIZE: This is a "full size" mattress, but it hangs over the full size box spring I already have. This causes a strange overhang that is noticeable when sitting on the side of the bed. OK for me, but if someone was unsteady this will cause a fall. OFF-GASSING: There was hardly any scent / off-gassing. The mattress was ready/full within 12 hours.

This mattress is the perfect combination of inner coil spring and foam topper. We returned a Inofia mattress that was the same design but had too much memory foam on top which would gradually compress over night and leave you stuck in a body print that caused morning back pains. This one has just enough memory foam to conceal the springs but enough to create a body imprint by morning. Immediate back pain relief which proved it was the mattress causing the pain.

Iโm in my mid 20s and this bed is so much better than a futon. I barely want to get out of bed for work. This bed is firm and soft and it was worth all the money I put on it. I canโt wait till I actually design my bed how I want. But if your having second thoughts between choosing a mattress donโt think too long..ya might miss ya chance at getting a comfy bed mailed to your front door instead of going to a actual store and having to find a truck(if ya donโt already have one) and deal with that mess at the front door and the entrance being too small.

I don't write reviews often, but thought this one deserved feedback. The description of this mattress says "10โ Innerspring and Memory Foam" mattress. I've ordered several similar "mattress in a box" over the years and have generally liked them (though this is the first time I've ordered this specific mattress). Usually after 3-5 years, I will start waking with a little backache and notice I've "hollowed it out" a little bit, and I'll order a new one. This mattress has among the best and most reviews of any on Amazon. But the mattress I received certainly doesn't feel like it has memory foam, and if it does, it has to be 1/8 of an inch of memory foam. It feels like an "old school" conventional mattress to me...and I mean OLD SCHOOL. Not a "pillowtop" or anything like that. It is so different than what I've gotten before or expected, that I wondered if the one I got is some kind of counterfeit product. Or perhaps the product has changed some over the yeras? It feels like you are lying on simply an innerspring mattress. It comes in different thicknesses, so maybe most of the positive reviews are mainly from other thicknesses but the reviews are lumped together? It looks just like the picture, and actually sleeps OK for what it is, (though it didn't help the backache), but it is not at all what I was looking for, and I find it hard to believe that if everyone got a mattress like the one I received that it would have this many very high rated reviews.

So I bought this mattress for my son's bed at his college apartment. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I have been pleasantly surprised. He says that it is very comfortable and he sleeps well on it. The mattress pairs nicely with the ZINUS Judy Upholstered Platform Bed Frame / Mattress Foundation / Wood Slat Support / No Box Spring Needed / Easy Assembly, Full (and no box spring needed). I do recommend going with 14" mattress because I think the thicker the mattress, the more comfortable it is. My only complaint/issue with this mattress is that if you sit on the edge, you are going to slide off because there isn't much support along the edges (as you would see with a $1000 coil mattress). But for only costing $250 and arriving condensed in a box that allowed it to be easily put in an SUV and transported up to school, I can't complain. We were originally looking at mattresses at C*stc*, but this was about half the price and fit inside the SUV. It did expand to its almost full-size within minutes of removing it from the plastic, and had minimal (if any) odor. I did immediately place the mattress in a Four Seasons Full Size Mattress Protector Bedbug Waterproof Zippered Cover Hypoallergenic Premium Quality Encasement (which I also recommend.)
