The deep teal color is beautiful, it was packed impeccably and the quality is good. The only reason for the 1 star is because the horrible smell is piercing. I even have trouble sleeping because of the smell. I have sprayed the fabric headboard with Febreze (air freshener) which only covered the smell with a flowery smell. After a simple modification this bed is perfect. I’d rate the quality of the headboard/side rails at 5/5. The quality is lacking in the supporting boards/joists. I remedied this by adding 7 additional boards. I had them on hand and cut them down to fit the bed (39.5 inches wide). I’d venture to guess it’s $20 worth of lumber, but can’t say for sure since I ready had them. After using wood screws and attaching all the boards, the bed feels very solid (before doing so the boards slipped). The support boards that come with the bed are very narrow and weak. They have feet but the feet didn’t touch the ground fully. I can’t imagine using them to support the mattress and an adult, and to be honest I didn’t even try. I used box springs, 10inch mattress, and a two inch mattress topper. There is still a slight gap near the headboard but it’s not as noticeable as it was when the mattress topper wasn’t on there. Overall, considering the price and the ease of installation, I am satisfied with this purchase. ... show more

where can you buy a headboard, and footboard and rails for less then $200.. Amazon of course, I looked at furniture stores, online sites could not find a bed that would match my new teal decor I was going for this was great, it came together in a slim line box, I put it together while watching a movie , it is very comfortable no issues, I wouldn't be having 10 kids jump on the bed but its sturdy for a night in the sheets.. you know what I mean, great buy beautiful fabric and well made for a cheap price. ... show more

I absolutely just love this bed. We got the teal and it's exactly as it appears in the picture. We ordered the queen size last year and we decided to move up to the king. The quality is very good. I did order it again and would highly recommend this. For the money it's well worth it but I'd put it up to any other bed. Btw, my husband is a big guy at 310 lbs. and I'm 240 lbs. and it's completely sturdy enough for the two of us. ... show more

Honestly I was really looking forward to this bed frame . I have a queen size mattress and got a queen size frame . Once I put it all together - there is still about three inches of dead space on the frame the mattress doesn’t cover . The sizing is completely off . Now my mattress sinks in between the wood slates and it’s a mess . 😞 I’m really disappointed ... show more

You get what you pay for. Like the color but not sure how long will stay clean. The frame is not sturdy and need few modifications. If I knew it require spring box I wouldn't buy it. Even with 12" mattress there is still 4" gap between headboard. Ended up cutting the headboard studs 5 " so I don't have to buy spring box. Also added 1x4 boards on the bottom to reinforce the mattress. ... show more
